  • Patent number: 10267364
Abstract: A device for lubricating an antifriction bearing of an electric motor includes a lubrication chamber located around a shaft of the electric motor and adjacent to the antifriction bearing when the shaft rotates. The lubrication chamber has a radial outer wall which is provided with at least one opening. An oil reservoir configured for arrangement on an exterior or an interior of the electric motor includes an oil pan and a ring-shaped or disk-shaped oil delivery member which directly or indirectly moves along on the shaft and is configured to run through the oil pan and to enable oil to be transported from the oil pan into the lubrication chamber, with oil being able to flow out of the lubrication chamber via the at least one opening back into the oil pan.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: April 23, 2019
    Assignee: Siemens Aktiengesellschaft
    Inventors: Josef Niedermeyer, Ekkehard Ressel
  • Patent number: 10181775
Abstract: A rotor of an asynchronous machine with a cage rotor includes a laminated core formed from a plurality of partial laminated cores. The laminated core has substantially axially extending conductors arranged in slots in the laminated core. The conductors include at least two materials of different electrical conductivities, such that a material with a higher electrical conductivity surrounds a material with a lower electrical conductivity by at least 65% in a circumferential direction.

Date of Patent: January 15, 2019
    Assignee: AUDI AG

  • Patent number: 8614528
Abstract: An electric machine has a housing, a rotor shaft mounted in the housing, a rotor laminate stack arranged on the rotor shaft and having axial cooling channels and radial cooling channels, and a stator laminate stack having radial cooling channels which are open radially inwards and radially outwards and interact with the radial cooling channels of the rotor laminate stack. The housing has a lateral surface to delimit the housing interior in a radial direction and radial dividers arranged between end windings of the stator winding and the axial ribs, when viewed in the radial direction, and are spaced in the radial direction from the lateral surface delimiting the housing interior and forming tangential cooling air channels for the cooling air.

  • Publication number: 20110127862
Abstract: A rotor shaft (2) is mounted in the housing (1) of an electric machine so as to be rotatable about a shaft axis (3). The housing (1) has two front faces (4) which axially delimit a housing interior (6). The housing has a peripheral surface (5) which radially delimits the housing interior (6). A rotor lamination stack (7) is arranged on the rotor shaft (2), said stack having axially extending cooling channels (8) and radially extending cooling channels (9). The radially extending cooling channels (9) of the rotor lamination stack (7) are radially open to the outside and extend radially inwards to at least the axially extending cooling channels (8). The housing (1) has two axial dividers (10) which extend radially inwards starting from the peripheral surface (5) but end in front of the rotor shaft (2).; The axial dividers (10) are arranged between the rotor lamination stack (7) and the front faces (4) when seen in the axial direction.
