  • Patent number: 9607790
Abstract: An operating device with a number of actuating elements, such as switches and/or pushbuttons, arranged next to one another and/or one below the other is provided. The actuating elements are delimited, at least in part, by at least one frame element. The frame element is provided, at least in some regions, with surface sections that are shaped such that they can be detected haptically. One actuating element is respectively assigned to at least a part of the haptically detectable surface sections.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 16, 2011
Date of Patent: March 28, 2017
Assignee: Airbus Defence and Space GmbH

  • Patent number: 7779053
Abstract: The invention relates to a method, a computer program product and an engineering system for creating a diagnostic model of an automation system made up of various automation components. The diagnostic model is generated automatically during the project planning phase of the automation system. Within the diagnostic model the automation components are represented by model nodes. Functional and/or physical relationships between the automation components are mapped by links between the corresponding model nodes within the diagnostic model. Each model node contains status information in which the status of the associated automation component is stored. By evaluating the status information, the status of the automation system can be investigated and monitored with the aid of the diagnostic model.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 15, 2006
Date of Patent: August 17, 2010
    Assignee: Siemens Aktiengesellschaft
Inventors: Hans-Joachim Beck, Norbert Becker, Dieter Helmig, Josef Ritzer, Michael Schlemper, Axel Schmuck, Stefan Weigel
  • Patent number: 7168075
Abstract: A device used for control or monitoring of a process is updated without interruption or exceeding upper response time limits for response to a change in the state of the process. If the updating task requires too much run time, the updating task is terminated. As soon as the updating task has been terminated, a configuration is established again with regard to the control or monitoring of the process, so that it is possible to respond again to changes in the state of the process.
