  • Patent number: 11161165
Abstract: One aspect relates to a method of producing a sleeve for a ring electrode for electrophysiological and neuro-medical applications from a biocompatible metallic tape. Repetitive structures are punched into the tape and each includes at least one surface that is connected by at least one fin to at least one external strip. The at least one external strip connects the repetitive structures to each other on the margin. A sleeve mold is formed from a multiple of the repetitive structures through multiple reforming steps by a reforming technique. The sleeve mold is punched off the such that the sleeve is formed with a first tube-shaped region with a larger diameter and a second tube-shaped region with a smaller diameter. The first region with the larger diameter has a larger external diameter and internal diameter than the second region with the smaller diameter, and the two regions are connected.

  • Patent number: 5373710
Abstract: A plurality of warp knitting machine needles are aligned in a parallel array in a like plurality of needle bar grooves. The needles each have a striker detent projection which mates with an abutment surface of the bar at the groove. The striker projection forms a key which is shaped to torque the needle against the groove in response to a force applied to a force transfer projection extending from the needle on a side opposite the striker projection. A convex tensioning device is between the force transfer projection and the bar and when compressed by a screw threaded to the bar spreads the device and forces the needle into the groove. The striker and the force transfer projection are axially aligned at the same or different needle shaft positions in different embodiments. A collar on the screw between the device and bar limits the maximum force applied to the needle.

  • Patent number: 5275211
Abstract: An electromagnetically activated jacquard control arrangement comprising a plurality of control elements each combined with a lifter element (16) and each provided with an electromagnet (19) with an armature (21). There is further provided a lifter plate (7) which, in each working cycle, lifts the lifter element (16) out of a rest position into a working position and which thereafter is again lowered so that the lifter element, in dependence upon the activation condition of the electromagnet, remains in the working position or returns to the rest position. Every lifter element (16) comprises a hook (26) which operates together with a counterhook held in a predetermined elevation. Each armature (21) is rotatably mounted on an axis (24) and by its swinging movement, displaces the counterhook into or out of the path of the lifter element hook. The lifter plate (7) can lift the lifter element beyond the working position into a predetermined zone.

  • Patent number: 4348876
Abstract: A weft thread laying apparatus for warp knitting machines includes a carriage having a plurality of thread guides disposed thereon perpendicular to a pair of endless transfer chains which carry the weft threads from a pickup area to a delivery area proximate the needed bed of the machine. The transfer chains are additionally accelerated in the pick-up area when the carriage, moving transversely to the chains, is on the outer side of the transfer chains, thereby permitting thread guides to lay thread around holding elements disposed on the transfer chains without requiring the carriage to move in more than one plane. The carriage is provided with a plurality of thread guides which have a skirt portion larger than its stem portion to insure that the threads do not become entangled when laid around the holding elements on the transfer chains.
