  • Patent number: 10703524
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a glue supply device for a labeling unit with a glue printer, comprising: a storage tank for glue, a supply line for supplying glue from the storage tank to the glue printer, a continuously delivering glue pump which is embodied to deliver glue from the storage tank into the supply line, and a hydropneumatic reservoir for the glue, wherein the hydro-pneumatic reservoir is arranged at the supply line upstream of the glue printer.

  • Publication number: 20140374028
Abstract: A labeler for a labeling machine for attaching labels to containers, having a transfer unit for transferring the labels to the container, the transfer unit being removably fixed at an operating position. In order to allow the labeler to be operated more easily and with less problems, the transfer unit is configured such that, for removal from its operating position, it can first be moved to a handling position.

  • Publication number: 20140373777
Abstract: A labeling unit having a vertically displaceable motor, a vertically displaceable upper cover plate for a pallet drum as well as a shift linkage which couples the upper cover plate to the motor such that, when the motor is displaced upwards, the pallet drum is lifted together therewith. The motor and the cover plate can thus be lifted in an ergonomically advantageous manner by means of a common operating mechanism on the comparatively easily accessible motor, when a change of format is executed.

  • Patent number: 8915282
Abstract: A labelling assembly with a transfer module that has a rotationally driveable hub at least of one essentially vertical pallet shaft, to which transfer module it is possible to allocate functionally an at least essentially vertical glue roll, at least one label magazine and a gripper cylinder that can be driven rotationally around an at least essentially vertical axis, and where at least the pallet shaft and/or the magazine and/or the gripper cylinder and/or the glue roll is a removable replacement fitting or are removable replacement fittings connected detachably to a respective support for a replacement due to retooling. Further, a connection of at least one replacement fitting with its respective support is formed in such a manner that the replacement fitting can be removed and attached by means of an essentially, to the greatest possible extent, horizontal and lateral relative movement of the replacement fitting.

  • Patent number: 8844708
Abstract: A device for transferring fittings having at least two gripper units offset in the circumferential direction around a transfer axis of a transfer station. Each gripper unit can be activated in a clocked manner, whereby each gripper unit takes over from a feeder, via a movement around the transfer axis generated by an electric servomotor, at least one container fitting individually from a moving take-over position of a feeder and transfers it through the transfer station to a moving hand-over position offset in the circumferential direction of the transfer station. The gripper units are arranged such that they move around the transfer axis relative to one another. The transfer station includes the electric servomotors as drive motors of the gripper units for generating within one full revolution of each gripper unit individually periodically non-uniform movements of the gripper units in the circumferential direction.

  • Publication number: 20090145276
Abstract: A cutting tool for cutting labels may include a housing arranged such that it can rotate about a rotation axis and a cutting element detachably arranged on the housing. The cutting element may have a cutting edge extending substantially in a direction parallel to the rotation axis. The cutting element may be arranged such that it can move relative to the housing. A first spring body may be structured and arranged to cushion a movement of the cutting element in a radial direction of the housing.
