Abstract: In a recording and/or reproducing apparatus for a magnetizable tape, such as a VCR, having a cylindrical scanning unit about which a length of tape can be wrapped, electromagnetic shielding is provided by a shielding enclosure for the scanning unit and a shielding box for an amplifier connected to the unit by a shielded cable. The shielding box and the shielding enclosure share a common wall portion arranged between the scanning unit and the amplifier. The common wall portion is preferably arranged perpendicular to the cylindrical scanning unit axis, and has an end of the scanning unit shaft passing through an opening for engagement by a leaf spring connected to the common wall portion.

Abstract: Motion picture camera, with an objective, in the light path of which, two exposure control devices, on the one hand a diaphragm and on the other hand a shutter, are adjustable by means of a common adjustment drive according to a predetermined program for changing of the light quantity which falls on a film per picture. An additional override, adjustment device is provided for at least one of said two exposure control devices for adjustment thereof independent of the predetermined program.

The light-guiding body has a flat front surface perpendicular to the optical axis and a generally dihedral internally reflecting rear surface whose faces converge forwardly at a ridge intersecting that axis.

Abstract: A cine camera having a rotary or reciprocating shutter driven by a motor is provided with a supplementary diaphragm which cooperates with the shutter during acceleration of the motor to its rated speed to reduce the effect on the first film frame or frames of the change in exposure time occurring during the acceleration period of the motor.
