  • Publication number: 20030034795
Abstract: The invention relates the provision of core scan functionality of complex integrated circuits. The invention proposes to provide core scan chain functionality of an integrated circuit by providing at least one scan flip-flop (10), each having a functional layer between an input port (PI) and at least one output port (Q, QN) and a storage layer between a scan input port (SI) and one of the at least one output port (Q, QN) constructed to be used within a scan chain, modifying said scan flip-flop 10 by adding a non-inverted and separate scan output port (SO) and implementing each of such modified scan flip-flops in the integrated circuit by creating a scan chain using the scan input port (SI) and the scan output port (SO). Additionally, delay measurement and characterization can be performed. Also improved resetting is possible to avoid power-peaks by a delayed distribution of the reset pulses.

  • Publication number: 20020116674
Abstract: The invention relates to the delay measurement functionality of integrated circuits. An object of the invention is to provide a new and improved approach for delay measurement of an integrated circuit that is substantially independent of vendors, technology and/or used development tools with a minimum of implementation effort in design time and gate resources. According to the invention, it is proposed to provide at least one boundary scan cell, each having a storage layer between a scan input port (SI) and a scan output port (SO) constructed to be used within a boundary scan chain of an integrated circuit for boundary scan testability, to analyze each boundary scan cell to identify a redundant state which is used to extend the boundary scan cell by creating an additional local path (BP) between the respective said scan input and scan output ports bypassing the respective storage layer and to implement the scan cell in the integrated circuit by creating said scan chain.

  • Patent number: 6371001
Abstract: An apparatus for clearing mines set in the ground has a vehicle body adapted to travel along the ground in a horizontal travel direction, a drum mounted at a front end of the body and rotatable in a rotational sense about a horizontal axis generally perpendicular to the direction, and an array of radially outwardly projecting chisels mounted on the drum. A support mounted on the body spaced from the drum is at least partially displaceable on the body radially relative to the drum. Springs braced between the body and the support hold the support in a standard position at a predetermined radial spacing from the drum and permit deflection of the support radially away from drum. A plurality of vertically spaced breaker bars are mounted on the support spaced from the drum.

  • Patent number: 5875980
Abstract: A traveling rock crusher has a vehicle body adapted to travel along the ground in a horizontal travel direction, a drum mounted at a front end of the body and rotatable about a horizontal axis generally perpendicular to the direction, an array of radially outwardly projecting chisels mounted on the drum, and a plurality of angularly spaced breaker elements mounted on the drum between the chisels. A support is mounted on the body spaced back in the direction from a rear side of the drum and carries a plurality of vertically spaced breaker bars spaced from the drum. A drive is provided for forcibly rotating the drum about the axis in a sense with a front side of the drum moving upward and the rear portion of the drum moving downward for engaging the chisels and elements with rocks on the ground, picking up the rocks, and comminuting the rocks against the breaker bars.

  • Patent number: 5086942
Abstract: A cover, especially for an oil tank, has a locking device with flexible arm carrying locking elements flexibly slidable against a bayonet curved track ridge of a tank opening or tank neck for closure of the tank. The locking device cover is capable of being rotated to close the tank opening without manual downward pressure. A bayonet curved track ridge has spring pressure of the flexible arms eliminating need for manual pressure. The construction is a single integral member made from a plate of spring steel, or made from plastic, of suitable flexibility. It has a bed plate with prongs formed from the edges of an aperture through the bed plate for gripping a pin carried by the cover to secure the locking device to the cover. The flexible arms extend in curved contour from the bed plate and have outer free ends on which the locking elements are located which slidably engage the bayonet track ridge in the tank opening or neck for limited rotation up to a stop for locking the cover to a tank.

  • Patent number: 4503092
Abstract: Pyrogenically produced silica after separation of the hydrogen halide is mixed with nitrogen and conveyed into a cyclone. After separation of the gases, which are returned into the cooling stretch of the production apparatus, the silica is first mixed with organohalosilane and nitrogen and subsequently with steam and nitrogen. Subsequently the hydrophobization reaction is carried out in known manner in a fluidized bed reactor. The reaction waste gases are returned into the cyclone.

  • Patent number: 4347229
Abstract: There is provided a pyrogenic process for the production of finely divided oxide of a metal and/or a metalloid in which there is employed as the starting material a vaporizable halogen compound of a metal and/or metalloid. Because of the starting material there is formed elemental halogen which is an impurity in the oxide formed. To remove the halogen there is supplied to the cooling section of the production plant a mixture of hydrogen and inert gas.

  • Patent number: 4258023
Abstract: In case of the pyrogenous production of metal oxides or metalloid oxides, whenever a halogen compound is used as a starting material, an elementary halogen is formed as a byproduct. This may be converted in the cooling section of the reaction apparatus with hydrogen into hydrogen halide. For a better temperature control and prevention of uncontrolled deflagration of the hydrogen in case of the halogen detonating gas reaction, according to the invention the hydrogen is introduced into the cooling section by means of a double jacket pipe, whereby an inert gas is introduced additionally by way of the interstice between the inside wall and the outside jacket of the double jacket pipe into the cooling section.
