  • Patent number: 7155894
Abstract: The invention relates to a receiving element for receiving an interchangeable yarn drawing nozzle that can be magnetically locked. According to the invention, the receiving element is configured as an adapter (26), which can be screwed into a central threaded bore (37) of a thread channel plate (12) in an open-ended rotor spinning device (1), the latter being designed to receive a conventional yarn drawing nozzle that is equipped with an external thread. The adapter (26) comprises centring bores (27) for receiving ferromagnetic centring lugs (28) of a yarn drawing nozzle (13) in addition to a continuous bore (33), whose internal diameter (d) is adapter to the external diameter (D) of the shaft (39) of the yarn drawing nozzle (13). The adapter is also equipped with permanent magnetic pins (30), which correspond with the ferromagnetic centring lugs (28) of the yarn drawing nozzle (13).

  • Patent number: 6854256
Abstract: A spinning device comprising a spinning box housing; a spinning rotor having a spinning cup on a rotor shaft; a cover element; a traveling belt acting tangentially on the rotor shaft; a rotor brake; a pivotable expander roller moveable within a maximum pivot angle via a pressure lever system connected to the brake gear of the rotor brake between an operative position when the spinning box is closed in an inoperative position wherein the expander roller is automatically lifted off the tangential belt and the rotor brake is applied to the rotor shaft when the spinning box is opened; a brake and locking lever having a locking recess in contact with an arresting roller arranged on the cover element; and an arrangement in the pressure lever system for absorbing shock-like forces acting on the expander roller and for preventing the forces from being transmitted to the brake and locking lever.

  • Patent number: 6836978
Abstract: An improved shoe, promoting a heel-to-toe motion of a foot, comprising an outsole and an upper part. The outsole has a contraction extending to a first area where a back of the foot is located. The upper part has a heel guide, including one of a heelplate and a flexible heel brace, which are arranged in a second area where the heel of the foot is located, such that an Achilles tendon of the foot is free.

  • Patent number: 6227125
Abstract: A coach body of a rail vehicle has horizontal and vertical walls, the horizontal walls serving to form both a floor and a ceiling, while the vertical walls forming side walls, the vertical walls having cutouts for at least one window and one boarding door, the horizontal and vertical walls being formed by modules of fiber-reinforced plastic divided sectionally crosswise to a longitudinal axis of the coach body, each two of these hand-modules which are complimentary to one another and are joined in a force-transmitting way at the horizontal walls which meet in a middle of the vehicle forming one longitudinal section of the coach body, and a length of the coach body being formed accordingly by a force-transmitting connection of a number of the longitudinal sections at abutting points extending all the way around in transverse direction of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 4296043
Abstract: Process for the preparation of benzanthrones of the formula ##STR1## in which R designates alkyl or halogen andn represents 0, 1, 2 or 3, characterized in that anthraquinones of the formula ##STR2## in which R and n have the meaning indicated above, are reacted with acrolein or compounds from which acrolein can be formed under the reaction conditions, in the presence of phosphorus or phosphorus compounds having a reducing action, in relatively highly concentrated sulphuric acid at elevated temperature, and the reaction mixture is worked up in a manner which is in itself known to give the benzanthrones of the formula (I).
