  • Patent number: 8709361
Abstract: Eight containers (1) containing substances (602, 702) are held in holes (71) in a support (70). The eight containers (1) containing different substances or the same substances in different amounts graduated in mole equivalents form a set (69) of containers containing substances, which set can be used for carrying out a chemical reaction.

  • Patent number: 7996107
Abstract: The invention relates to a device that comprises a tool holder that can be adjusted in an x-axis, a y-axis which is perpendicular thereto, and a z-axis that is perpendicular both to the x-axis and the y-axis and that can be pivoted about the z-axis. A dispense head for solid material is mounted on the tool holder as the tool. Two scales are disposed on the dispense head for solid material, said scales weighing the material which is or is to be delivered by the dispense head for solid material. The inventive design with two scales directly mounted on the dispense head for solid material allows for weighing of the material without the dispense head for solid material or the material having to be placed on separate scales.

  • Patent number: 7931869
Abstract: A device for dosage of substances having a substance intake portion, which included at least one substance compartment for the intake of substance to be dosed, an emptying portion for the emptying the substance compartment and a weighing balance for the determination of the quantity of dosed substance, wherein the substance intake portion includes a plurality of substance compartments, which are able to be individually emptied. The device further includes a control means, which control the emptying of the substance compartments in a manner dependent on the quantity of dosed substance, which is determined by means of the weighing balance.

  • Patent number: 7635326
Abstract: The inventive device comprises a tool holder (1), which can be displaced in an x-direction, in a y-direction that is perpendicular thereto, and in a z-direction that is perpendicular to both the x-direction and the y-direction, and which can rotate about the z-direction. A solid matter dosing head (350), provided as a tool, is automatically attached in a removable manner to the tool holder (1) by means of a permanent magnet (351). The tool can be easily exchanged for another tool due to this automatic removable attachment of said tool to the tool holder (1) involving the use of a permanent magnet (351).

  • Patent number: 7402285
Abstract: Twelve reaction vessels (2) in two parallel rows are attached to a switch block (401). The switch block (401) comprises a reaction block (403) and twelve slide plates (404), which are arranged within it and which can be adjusted between an open position, a closed position and a further position. In the open position, access in straight line to the associated reaction vessel (2) is possible whereas in the closed position, the corresponding reaction vessel (2) is closed in a pressure-tight manner by the switch block (401). In the case of a positive pressure or depression in the reaction vessel (2), the corresponding slide plate (404) is pressed by this positive pressure or depression against the reaction block (403) or is drawn onto it. By means of this switch block (401), it is also possible to carry out processes in which high positive pressures are present in the reaction vessels (2).

  • Patent number: 7358073
Abstract: The invention relates to a novel process for the preparation of an aminoalcohol of the formula racemically or optically active, starting from 2-azabicyclo[2.2.1]hept-5-en-3-one, its further conversion to give the corresponding acyl derivative and its further conversion to (1S,4R)- or (1R,4S)-4-(2-amino-6-chloro-9-H-purine-9-yl)-2-cyclopentenyl-1-methanol of the formulae In the latter synthesis, the aminoalcohol is converted into the corresponding D- or L-tartrate, which is then reacted with N-(2-amino-4,6-dichloropyrimidin-5-yl) formamide of the formula to give (1S,4R)- or (1R,4S)-4-[(2-amino-6-chloro-5-formamido-4-pyrimidinyl)amino]-2-cyclopentenyl-1-methanol of the formulae and then cyclized to give the end compounds.

  • Patent number: 6709584
Abstract: A device for analyzing substances by thin layer chromatography comprises a solvent trough with two solvent channels, wherein two wall plates are mounted in the solvent trough, enabling thin layer plates to be arranged obliquely with respect to the horizontal in the solvent channels. The substance to be analyzed can thus be dropped or applied onto the thin layer plates from above, and solvent can be supplied to the solvent channels from above at a solvent supply point. The upward migration of components of the substance to be analyzed can thus be started without changing the position of the thin layer plate for this purpose.
