  • Publication number: 20240150128
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a system for packaging articles (2). Outer packages (3) are set down on a horizontal conveying device (10, 20) and are transported along a packaging line. During the transport, articles are introduced via a manipulator into the outer packages (3), and the outer packages (3) with the introduced articles (2) are subsequently removed from the horizontal conveying device (10, 20) as a packaging unit (8). A predetermined packaging process (VP1) is carried out, in which the outer packages (3) are received by the horizontal conveying device (10, 20) via a plurality of shuttles (5), the outer packages (3) standing on said plurality of shuttles (5), until the outer packages (3) together with the introduced articles (2) are removed from the at least one horizontal conveying device (10, 20) as a packaging unit (8).

  • Patent number: 7414736
Abstract: A method for controlling a scanning signal of a light-electric position measuring arrangement, the method includes in a first mode of operation providing the scanning signal to a control device and the control device comparing an amplitude of the scanning signal with a predetermined level and makes a differentiation as to whether the amplitude lies above or below the predetermined level. In a second mode of operation the method includes reducing the amplitude of the scanning signal by attenuating light within a light beam path, and the reduced amplitude is compared with the predetermined level and generating an indication which is suitable for controlling a basic setting of a scanning head relative to a scale.

  • Patent number: 4757180
Abstract: The invention relates to a transport device for welding wire feed for welding equipment, in particular arc sheild-gas welding tools on manipulators. The welding wire is transported from a magazine or reel with the aid of two separate drives. The main drive determines the feed and it is mounted near the application welding die, while the auxiliary is arranged spaced therebehind. The motor of the main drive is controlled to a constant speed corresponding to the selected feed, while the auxiliary drive acts on the welding wire with slip. The motor of the auxiliary drive is also controlled to a constant speed, the speed adjustment of the drives being, however, control-technologically connected for maintenance of a certain difference of the transport speeds.
