  • Patent number: 11958990
Abstract: Described herein is a mixer system for producing aqueous coating materials from at least one aqueous pigment paste A, including at least one effect pigment, and at least one pigment-free component B, including an aqueous, acrylate-based microgel dispersion having a glass transition temperature Tg of 50 to 60° C., where both the aqueous pigment paste A and the component B each have a VOC value of less than or equal to 250 g/L. Further described herein is a method for producing aqueous coating materials having a VOC content of 0 to 250 g/L, in which the individual components A and B are stored separately and not mixed until shortly before application, to give the aqueous coating material. Further described herein is a method of using the mixer system of for producing aqueous coating materials for refinishing and/or for coating automobile bodies and/or plastics parts.

  • Publication number: 20210210808
Abstract: The invention is directed to a battery case (1) comprising a compartment (2) for at least one battery module (3). Two first outer beams (4) extending in a first spatial direction (x) and two second outer beams (5) extending in a second spatial direction (y) are arranged essentially perpendicular to the first spatial direction. The first and second beams (4, 5) are forming a frame-like support structure (6). A tub-shaped insert (7) is connected to the grid like support structure (6) from a third direction (z) arranged essentially perpendicular to the first and the second direction (x, y). A closure (8) closes the tub-shaped insert (7) to form the closed compartment (2) for the at least one battery module.

  • Publication number: 20080271251
Abstract: The inventive cushions (5) for sitting, leaning or lying upon are essentially constructed of a pneumatic structure and of a covering that surrounds the pneumatic structure. The pneumatic structure consists of an enclosure (2) and webs (3) resulting in the formation of chambers (4). The pneumatic structure is pressurized whereby tensioning the covering so that the ribbed surface of the pneumatic structure can no longer be clearly perceived. In other embodiments, the cushions (5) are equipped with means for individual adaptation. They can also be supplemented with reinforcing and stiffening structures. Cushions (5) can be deformed or moved relative to one another by means of pneumatic actuators.

  • Patent number: 7017468
Abstract: A pneumatic device for pivoting a pivotal component is articulated to a structural element by means of a joint. Hoses produced from a material of low ductility, to which compressed air can be admitted, are inserted between the pivotal component and the structural element. The hoses contain an airtight bag. When these bags are inflated via valves, compressive forces act both on the structural element and on the pivotal component, causing the latter to swivel out. In order that the hoses cannot migrate, webs run from the joint to the hoses. In order to relieve the hoses in a specific limit position of the pivotal component and to prevent oscillatory movements of the pivotal component, a locking device is provided. The locking device includes a rod, which runs through a brake device fixed to an arm.

  • Publication number: 20040232754
Abstract: The present invention relates to a pneumatic device for the pivoting of a pivotal component (1). This is articulated to a structural element (5) by means of a joint (2). Hoses (9) produced from a material of low ductility, to which compressed air can be admitted, are inserted between the pivotal component (1) and the structural element (5) in mounting surfaces (3) intended for this purpose. The hoses (9) themselves contain an airtight bag (10). When these bags (10) are inflated via valves (11), compressive forces act both on the structural element (5) and on the pivotal component (1), causing the latter to swivel out. In order that the hoses (9) cannot migrate, webs (4) run from the joint (2) to the hoses (9). Whilst the hoses (9) are pressurized, the webs (4) are subjected to tensile loading. In order to be able to relieve the hoses (9) in a specific limit position of the pivotal component (1), and to prevent oscillatory movements of the pivotal component (1), a locking device (12) is provided.

  • Patent number: 6192737
Abstract: The invention pertains to a method for measuring the concentration of dissolved gases in a liquid [(39)], especially of CO2 in beverages, in which the liquid [(39)] is passed across the retentate side [(140)] of a membrane [(14)] that is at least partially permeable to the dissolved gas, and [in which] the volumetric flow of the permeated gas on permeate side [(16)] of the membrane [(14)] is determined, the temperature of the liquid [(39)] is measured, and the concentration of the dissolved gas in the liquid [(39)] is calculated from these values. In this, the thickness of the membrane [(14)] can be pre-selected as a function of the flow rate of the liquid [(39)] flowing along the retentate side [(140)].

  • Patent number: 5976841
Abstract: Proteins having fibrinolytic and coagulation-inhibiting properties which are linked at the N- and/or C-terminal end of the plasminogen-activating amino acid sequence to a thrombin- or factor Xa-inhibiting amino acid sequence. The proteins, which are produced by genetic engineering, are useful as thrombolytic agents.
