  • Patent number: 5884461
Abstract: A disk mower moveable in a cutting direction includes a mower cutter support and a plurality of mowing disks mounted on the cutter support, the mowing disks being aligned in a direction generally perpendicular to the cutting direction. Each of the mowing disks rotate within a working circle having a working circle diameter, the working circle diameter of at least one of the mowing disks being different from the working circle diameter of at least one other mowing disk.

  • Patent number: 5797253
Abstract: A hay making machine includes a rake which is supported on the ground and which includes a prong carrier having a longitudinal axis. A double prong spring element is carried on the prong carrier, the double prong spring element including first and second leg springs and a connecting section connecting the first and second leg springs. The connecting section includes two helical coils coiled in opposite directions and a U-shaped loop between the two helical coils. The helical coils have an axis aligned with the longitudinal axis of the prong carrier. The double prong spring element has a crank-shaped section providing an offsetting relationship between the first and second leg springs.

  • Patent number: 4926619
Abstract: A hay-making machine operable to move along a straight line path and a curved path includes a central support along with elongated transverse supports pivotably connected to the central support and extending from opposite sides of the central support in a direction generally perpendicular to the straight line path. Raking devices and ground-support wheels are provided on each of the transverse supports. A drawbar structure is connected to the central support and extends generally forwardly of the central support, the drawbar structure being connectable to a tractor vehicle while an undercarriage is connected to the central support and extends generally rearwardly of the central support. Running wheels are rotatably mounted on the undercarriage, and a pivotal arrangement pivotably supports the running wheel for pivotable movement about generally vertical axes.
