  • Patent number: 6959911
Abstract: A valve features a deflectable actuating element (1) that controls the movements of at least one actual sealing element (3) for opening and/or closing at least one sealing contour (6), and the actuating element is loaded via an elastic element (5) essentially perpendicularly relative to the direction of the deflection; and the longitudinal axis of the actuating element and the force applied by the elastic element are aligned in a position of the actuating element that is between its two extreme positions. The actuating element (1) is preferably an unilaterally loaded piezoelectric bending transducer, and the sealing element (3) is preferably a toggle that has the ability to swing around an axis arranged perpendicularly relative to the direction of the deflection of the actuating element (1).

Date of Patent: November 1, 2005
    Assignees: Hygrama AG, Honeywell GmbH
Inventors: Günther Strasser, Josef Vollmer, Jochen Schaible
  • Patent number: 6751520
Abstract: An intrinsically safe microprocessor controlled pressure regulator for operation in a hazardous environment. The intrinsically safe microprocessor controlled pressure regulator receives control commands that are input to a microprocessor in the hazardous environment. The microprocessor generates control commands to control operation of an intrinsically safe solenoid valve and an intrinsically safe piezo electric valve. The piezo electric valve generates an output signal for controlling operating parameters of the paint gun. One or a plurality of microprocessors may operate within a hazardous environment in order to control one or a plurality of intrinsically safe valves in the hazardous environment.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 18, 2002
Date of Patent: June 15, 2004
    Assignee: Ross Operating Valve Company
Inventors: Christopher W. Mathewes, Josef Vollmer, Max Schrobenhauser, Lawrence J. Worde

  • Patent number: 6186175
Abstract: A rocker valve with pneumatic pre-control includes a housing (G) with the pressure means connections (P, A, R, Ps), at least one rocker in the housing which is movable between two final positions about an axis and works together with at least one sealing surface for at least two pressure means connections, where one handle of the rocker can be impacted with a pre-control pressure via a pre-control connection and the rocker in one final position connects one working connection (A) with the supply connection (P) and in the other final position with the ventilation connection (R).

  • Patent number: 3963871
Abstract: The present invention relates to an analysis device, for use in a transit exchange for transmission of asynchronous data signals with known character structure and known nominal signalling rate. The character structure comprises a start pulse and a number of data pulses which are sampled in the exchange by means of sampling pulses in synchronism with clock pulses from a clock pulse source several times per data pulse for the establishment of the binary informational content of the data signals. The device includes means through the aid of which a summation is made of the clock pulse occurring during a data pulse with indication signals being delivered at specific clock pulse positions within the data pulse.
