The device may also include at least two set-down tables each including a set-down surface for receiving stacks of the supplied paper products. The set-down tables may move along a circuit-like table-circulating path and may be flexible at least in some segments to conform to shapes of curvatures located in at least some parts and subregions of the table-circulating path. As a result, it is possible for the set-down tables to be guided into the curvatures with a leading front side edge of each of the set-down tables being a leading edge in a circulating direction of the set-down tables. The stacks of stacked paper products may then be transported away from a delivery section by a removal conveyor.

Abstract: A paper web (8) drawn off from a supply roll is periodically moved past a rotary cutting device (12), by an advancement arrangement (11), at an advancement speed (v1), which is equal to the sheet draw-in speed (v3) of the sheet draw-in arrangement (3) of a high-speed printer (2). Said rotary cutting device severs in each case one individual sheet (31) from the moving paper web (8). This individual sheet is received by a conveying device (13), which leads the individual sheet (31) to the sheet draw-in arrangement (3) at a constant speed, i.e. at a conveying speed (v2), which is likewise equal to the draw-in speed (v3) of the sheet draw-in arrangement (3). Each individual sheet (31) cut off from the paper web (8) thus already moves at the draw-in speed (v3) of the sheet draw-in arrangement (3) at the point in time at which it is cut off, and it maintains this speed until it runs into the printing unit of the high-speed printer (2).

Abstract: An apparatus for winding or unwinding material webs onto or from a winding core (3) has a bearing device (5) and a drive device (9) for driving the winding core (3) that is rotatably mounted in the bearing device (5). The drive device (9) comprises a drive (10) and a torque-transmitting device (11) from the drive (10) to the winding core (3). In order to achieve the smallest possible winding-core diameter and, nonetheless, to achieve an adequate winding or unwinding speed, the torque-transmitting device (11) comprises a toothed-belt reduction gear mechanism (12).
