  • Patent number: 7210276
Abstract: The invention relates to a wooden floor, consisting of a hardenable adhesive (12) which is painted onto a floor base (10) in a continuous layer, and covering elements (16) consisting of wood or a wood material that are joined to the adhesive in its entirety by their surface (14) to be glued. According to the invention, the adhesive layer (12) has a thickness of 0.5 to 5 mm and the combined tension and shear strength of the adhesive (12), in its hardened state, is les than that of the floor base (10) and is at most 1.2 N/mm2, in order to obtain a floor covering with excellent dimensional stability.

  • Patent number: 5027219
Abstract: A camera, together with a light source, is pointed by means of a mirror system at a projection surface which lies on the apparatus or adjacent to it. Transmitted light pictures, such as slides, can be placed in front of the light source, the said pictures thus being reproduced on the projection surface and being recorded from there. Instead of such projected images, it is possible to illuminate and record articles. Connecting two pieces of apparatus with one another, each apparatus having a monitor, provides a universal video telephone.

  • Patent number: 4903948
Abstract: The invention comprises a metallurgical vessel, more particularly an electric arc furnace, having means for introducing inert stirring (purging) gases into a metal melt. The vessel has an outer sheet metal jacket, a refractory lining, and means for introducing stirring gases into the melt being disposed in the furnace hearth, which comprises a permanent lining of refractory bricks and a wear lining of a refractory ramming mass. The means for introducing the stirring gases are disposed in the permanent lining.

  • Patent number: 4725409
Abstract: An arrangement for fine dust separation in a fluidized bed reactor with a clone and dust return conduit. A venturi tube extends from the solids discharge of the cyclone intermediate the cyclone and the dust return conduit, and a gas injector is located at the inlet of the venturi tube. The fine dust which leaves the fluidized bed is separated from the exhaust gas in the cyclone, and the separated dust is conducted from the cyclone, through the venturi tube and the dust return conduit, and into the lower region of the fluidized bed. Gas is conducted through the gas injector to help force the separated dust through the return conduit and into the fluidized bed.
