  • Patent number: 9032861
Abstract: An arrangement for providing a throttle cross-section for a fluid flow. The throttle cross-section can be varied depending on a pressure difference present across the throttle cross-section. The arrangement is designed such that the polarity of the pressure difference, by which the throttle cross-section can be varied and/or changed. It is thereby possible to use the arrangement for fluid flows that alternate in the flow direction thereof.

  • Patent number: 7752842
Abstract: Circuit for controlling a double-action hydraulic drive cylinder includes a directional control valve having working ports A and B, a pump port P, and a tank port T, wherein the directional control valve has a neutral position in which pump port P is blocked and working ports A, B are connected to tank port T. A pressure-limiting valve and a controllable load-holding valve are connected to the piston space in parallel, and a regeneration check valve is connected in series between a connection point for the parallel components and the rod space. A first precharge valve is connected between the working port A and the connection point, and a first bypass check valve is connected anti-parallel parallel with the first precharge valve and the load-holding valve. A second precharge valve is connected in series with the directional control valve between the tank port P and the rod space.

  • Publication number: 20060011875
Abstract: A hydraulically controlled valve includes at lease one hydraulic drive unit that is provided with a control piston to which a control tappet is connected. The control tappet acts upon a flow control mechanism of the valve for controlling the flow of hydraulic oil from or to a consumer. The control piston can be moved towards a control spring by a control pressure PX. The control piston has a first step and a second step which have different diameters. A connection having a throttle point is provided between a primary control pressure chamber and a secondary control pressure chamber. The valve creates a throttle effect with the aid of which vibrations are dampened.

  • Patent number: 6505711
Abstract: A hydraulic elevator with a pressure accumulator acting as a counterweight, includes a first pump for conveying hydraulic oil through a pump line, at least one valve unit, and a cylinder line to and from a hydraulic drive for a car, a second pump for conveying hydraulic oil by way of a solenoid valve from and to the pressure accumulator, which hydraulic oil can be supplied to and withdrawn from a tank. The two pumps are connected rigidly to each other and can be driven by an electric motor, the speed of which can be regulated. A single valve unit is installed between the first pump and the hydraulic drive, the valve unit being a relay-controllable valve and a first nonreturn valve connected in parallel to the relay-controllable valve. A control/automatic regulation unit is provided, and in order to control the speed of the car, acts on a power regulating unit for the electric motor, on the solenoid valve, and also, during descents, on the relay-controllable valve.

  • Patent number: 6098647
Abstract: A hydraulically controllable valve for double-acting consumers that in the lowering mode drains off a flow of load volume from connection B to connection A in throttled fashion. To that end, the valve has a valve seat (5), which communicates with a sealing face (4) of a main piston (3). A pilot piston (8) is guided concentrically in the main piston (3) and communicates with a sealing face (7) to a pilot valve seat (6) in the main piston; the main piston (3) and the pilot piston (8) are held on the valve seat (5) and pilot valve seat (6), respectively, by the load pressure and/or by spring force. On the pressure-relieved side, the pilot piston (8) has a piston shank (9), guided in a seat bore, with a continuously decreasing throttling action and in particular throttle grooves (10), which form a throttle restriction.

  • Patent number: 4679586
Abstract: A pilot operated relief valve is disclosed which includes a first control space operatively connected to the inlet fluid channel, and a second control space operatively connected to the outlet fluid channel. In one embodiment, each control space is connected to a relief outlet by means of an adjustable valve, whereby the valve is adapted to operate as a pressure relief valve in either flow direction. In another embodiment, one of the control spaces is connected to the opposite channel by means of a one-way check valve, so as to function as a makeup fluid supply valve upon the pressure in the opposite channel reaching a predetermined low level.
