Patent number: 6141813Abstract: A self-wringing mop includes a powered actuator device operably connected to a cleaning element assembly for moving the cleaning element assembly from a use position to a wringing position. A cleaning element, which may be used with a self-wringing mop, includes a main body defining a top surface, a bottom surface and at least one aperture associated with the main body and passing completely through the main body from the top surface to the bottom surface. A bracket, which may be used with the cleaning element, includes a holding member and at least one bracket attachment member extending through the at least one aperture and adapted to be secured to a mop's cleaning element assembly attachment member. A wringer head assembly, which may be used with the self-wringing mop, includes a mounting rod, a roller mounted on the mid-portion of the mounting rod, and an end cap mounted on each of the ends of the mounting rod.Type: GrantFiled: December 18, 1997Date of Patent: November 7, 2000Assignee: Micronova Manufacturing Inc.Inventor: Joselito De Guzman

Patent number: 6122772Abstract: An apparatus and method are disclosed for reducing or minimizing the particulates and other contaminants which may be brought into a restricted or clean room area. The apparatus and methods include a gown having positioning elements for keeping portions of the gown in place to permit inflation of the gown, for example during an airwash, and the apparatus and methods may also include gown inflation apparatus to remove the particulates and contaminants. Apparatus and methods of the present inventions also inflate the gown not only to eject particulates and contaminants that may be entrained or caught in the gown fabric, but also can be used to inflate the gown while the operator is in an air shower. Methods and apparatus of the present inventions also provide for an improved glove to gown seal, in addition to a reduced possibility of contamination from particulates or moisture from the operator's hands and an enhanced comfort level in the use of latex or rubber gloves with the gown.Type: GrantFiled: October 20, 1998Date of Patent: September 26, 2000Assignee: Micronova Manufacturing, Inc.Inventor: Joselito De Guzman

Patent number: 6068820Abstract: The proper quantity of the desired cleaning/disinfecting liquid sufficient to wet the desired wiping material is introduced into a small plastic pouch and sealed. The wiping material and the sealed pouch are placed in a plastic bag and the bag is then sealed closed. The bag is preferably sealed over the top of the plastic pouch as well, fixing the pouch in place in the bag. The sealed bag is transported to the intended cleaning location. Thereat, the bag and pouch therein are folded over onto themselves, and the folded pouch squeezed and ruptured. The liquid flows from the ruptured pouch to the wiping material soaking the same, without opening the outer bag. The outer bag is then torn open providing access to the wetted wiping material, for the desired wiping procedure.Type: GrantFiled: July 21, 1995Date of Patent: May 30, 2000Assignee: Micronova Manufacturing, Inc.Inventor: Joselito De Guzman

Patent number: 6055698Abstract: An adjustable wringer can wring a variety of different types and sizes of mops, wipes, sponges and other wringable items for use in cleaning clean rooms. The wringer has two side plates situated in a spaced relationship relative to one another, each of the side plates having a slot. The wringer has a lever which has a handle and a rod. The handle has side posts, with the lower end of each side post being rotatably mounted to a respective side plate, and a handle bar extending across and connecting the upper ends of the first and second side posts. The rod is attached at each end to a handle side post, with each end of the rod passing through a respective slot in the side plates. The wringer also has a crank which has a crank handle and a rotatable crank shaft that extends from one side plate to the other. A substantially lint-free, flexible web is supported at one end by the rod and at the other end by the crank shaft.Type: GrantFiled: May 26, 1998Date of Patent: May 2, 2000Assignee: Micronova Manufacturing Inc.Inventor: Joselito De Guzman
