Abstract: Under the invention, a new electrical terminal assembly is provided. In one embodiment, the electrical terminal assembly comprises an electrical terminal made of an electrically conductive material and having a cavity to receive a wire assembly, and a wire assembly, comprising an electrically conductive wire and insulation surrounding the wire such that a portion of the wire assembly is insulated and a portion of the wire assembly is uninsulated. The wire assembly extends into the cavity of the electrical terminal such that the uninsulated portion of the wire assembly comes into contact with the electrical terminal. The electrical terminal is crimped at a first location around the insulated portion of the wire assembly which inhibits fluid from entering the portion of the cavity housing the uninsulated portion of the wire assembly.

Abstract: An energy management system and method for a vehicle monitors the state and/or condition of at least one energy storage device. A connection element is included that is adapted to connect to a first terminal of the energy storage device. A terminal body is included having a terminal connection point configured to connect to a second terminal of the energy storage device. At least one electrical shunt is also coupled to the terminal body and the connection element wherein the electrical shunt provides a path for the flow of current from the terminal connection point to the connection element. This system further includes an electrical circuit coupled to the shunt that is configured to determine predetermined parameters of the energy storage device based on the flow of current through the electrical shunt.

Abstract: Especially designed for printed circuit boards associated to power circuits, combined with electronic circuits, this invention consists of a body (1) shaped like a prismatic cup, provided with side tabs (4) with holes (5) for their fixing by screwing to the printed circuit board, a body (1) which, at the bottom (2), incorporates power terminals (6) projecting both outwardly and inwardly, for being connected to the printed circuit board and for receiving the complementary connector, such that the latter is not directly inserted on the board but rather the insertion thereof is carried out on the intermediate support. A lower lug (7) with asymmetric positioning assures the polarization of the support in the assembly thereof on the printed circuit board, whereas an inner and also symmetric partition (8) in turn assures the correct polarization of the connector in its assembly in the housing of the support.
