  • Publication number: 20250049052
Abstract: A stabilization system for transporting products along a processing line, for instance animal carcasses in a meat processing plan, is provided. The system includes a stabilizing surface along the processing line and along which the products are transported. The system also includes one or more stabilizers installed proximate the processing line opposite the stabilizing surface and having an engagement component and a shock absorbing device coupled to the engagement component adapted to absorb at least some of the impact forces resulting from the product being carried down the processing line. The stabilizer includes an articulated engagement component to engage the product, and having stabilizer sections pivotally coupled to one another. The stabilizer further includes one or more shock absorbing devices coupled to the stabilizer sections. The shock absorbing devices can generate a pressure on the stabilizer sections as the products are transported to push the products against the stabilizing surface.

  • Publication number: 20230098883
Abstract: A carcass stabilization system for a meat processing plant having carcasses transported along a processing line is provided. The system includes a stabilizer installed proximate the processing line and having a carcass engagement component and a shock absorbing device coupled to the carcass engagement component adapted to absorb at least some of the forces resulting from the carcasses impacting the carcass engagement component. The system also includes a stabilizing surface extending along the processing line opposite the stabilizer such that the carcasses are transported along the processing line between the stabilizing surface and the stabilizer, where the carcass engagement component is adapted to engage and bias the carcasses against the stabilizing surface.

  • Publication number: 20200072298
Abstract: The vehicle clutch comprises a plurality of discs, one part of which comprises an outer toothing and another part of which comprises an inner toothing, and is characterised in that the discs are placed between two pressure plates which are the same with respect to one another, and the clutch further comprises a hub that engages with the inner toothing of said discs. It allows a vehicle clutch to be provided, in particular a multidisc clutch, the cost of which will be reduced.

  • Publication number: 20180223916
Abstract: A heat dissipation disc is for a clutch mechanism, and is incorporated into the clutch in a variable number, alternatingly intercalated between the friction discs of an oil-immersed multi-disc clutch. The heat dissipation disc is provided with inner or outer toothing for engaging either the crankshaft or the gearshift. The heat dissipation disc includes at least two solid outer steel discs and a central spacer disc, all of which are attached to one another concentrically like a sandwich. The central disc has a series of open grooves on its surface with an exit on one of the edges. The outer discs have several notches on one of the edges. The grooves and the notches determine an increased surface area on the edges of the dissipation disc.

  • Publication number: 20020127741
Abstract: Particle-based methods, compositions, and kits are provided for the detection of the free form of a member of a binding pair which may be found free or in a bound state in a sample. Inhibition and direct assay formats are provided. In one embodiment, the invention provides diagnostic tools for the diagnosis of thrombophilia through the detection of free protein S.

  • Patent number: 5520084
Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed for braiding fine denier yarns to form a braided suture product which includes a frame, and a main carrier support plate supported on the frame and having a pair of undulating guide channels intersecting each other for guiding a plurality of yarn carriers. A plurality of yarn carriers are supported on the main carrier support plate, and each supports a bobbin for dispensing fine denier yarn. The yarn carriers are directed over intersecting paths corresponding to the shape of the guide channels, with a first set of the carriers being directed in a first direction and a second set of the carriers being directed in the opposite direction. The yarns are received in a common braiding zone above the yarn carriers while the yarn carriers are directed through the intersecting paths of the guide channels to form a braided sheath from the yarns.

  • Patent number: 5370031
Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed for braiding fine denier yarns to form a braided suture product which includes a carrier housing, a main carrier support plate for guiding a plurality of yarn carriers through predetermined paths while dispensing fine denier yarns toward a braiding zone. Each yarn carrier has a spindle for mounting a molded bobbin, with a spindle tip having a recess engageable with resilient leg portions of a bobbin hold down member hingedly mounted for rotation relative to the carrier housing. Tension on the yarn controls rotational movement of the bobbin to dispense yarn therefrom, and the tension of the final braided suture product is controlled to form a product of predetermined uniform appearance.
