Abstract: This implant includes a cavity, which may be open or closed, that has a certain predetermined geometric shape and that is made of the same material as the implant, which cavity contains a material whose density is different from that of the material of which the implant is made, and which material possesses certain characteristics suitable for allowing the said cavity and/or the said material to be detected and displayed by means of magnetic resonance, ionizing radiation of the CAT (computed tomography) type, CBCT (cone beam computed tomography), or any other similar radiological examination, with the resulting determination of the position and orientation of the implants in the mouth of the patient.

Abstract: This post (1) comprises: a body (11) of biocompatible and radiologically visible material, a threaded shank (12) for being attached to a dental implant (2), and an open or closed cavity (13), of a predetermined geometrical shape, arranged at a pre-set position on the post (1), defined in the same material from which the post is made and containing a substance (14) of a different density from that of the material from which the post (1) is made; said substance (14) presenting suitable properties for the cavity (13) containing the same and/or the substance (14) itself in order to be visible through magnetic resonance, ionizing radiation of the CAT (computerized tomography) or CBCT (cone beam computerized tomography) type, or any other similar radiologic test.

Abstract: Method for modelling positions of implants in the patient's mouth in order to calculate the program for milling the structure of the prosthesis, which can be coupled onto the implants, where the operation of modelling the implants includes: a placing posts, which can be detected by X-ray, on the implants in the patient's mouth; performing a CAT scan of the patient's mouth with the posts; converting the CAT result into a three-dimensional computer model for the CAD/CAM manipulation thereof; defining the posts in the computer model; CAD/CAM modelling of the structure on the computer model with the defined posts; and generating a file containing positions and orientations for calculating the structure milling program.
