  • Publication number: 20210097515
Abstract: Systems and methods directed to facilitating client to business interactions and transactions are described in this application. Some embodiments include a platform server, a code-presenting apparatus, a point of sale system, an associate device, and a patron-controlled device. When, for example, a patron sits down in a restaurant, they will be able to scan a code from the code presenting device. Once the code is scanned, that patron's device will be able to place orders that the restaurant can fulfill, thereby eliminating a need for dedicated hardware that can quickly become a health hazard if not properly cleaned. In some embodiments, it is contemplated that the associate device can be omitted from the system, and it is further contemplated that, in embodiments with an associate device (e.g., a mobile device that a server can use to take orders), the associate device can double as the code-presenting apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20180268507
Abstract: Methods, systems and non-transitory computer readable media for automated workflow management for sleep quality are presented. A subject in a resting state is monitored using one or more sensors for acquiring one or more physiological parameters. A phase of sleep of the subject at a specific time using the physiological parameters is detected and inferred. Further, a recuperative benefit of the detected sleep phase is estimated. Additionally, it is determined is if an activity in a patient care workflow scheduled proximate to the specific time hinders sleep of the subject. The patient care workflow is then automatically reconfigured if scheduled activity hinders patient sleep, if the determined recuperative benefits exceed a designated threshold and/or if a proposed reconfiguration satisfies one or more designated criteria accounting for both restorative benefits to the patient and objectives of competing care delivery activities for both a given patient and a department.

  • Patent number: 9530904
Abstract: A sensor assembly for a flame sensor apparatus includes a photodiode that generates a current. The sensor assembly includes a seal assembly supporting the photodiode. The seal assembly includes an inner conductor defining an inner conductor end. The inner conductor includes an inner conductor surface disposed at the inner conductor end. The photodiode is attached to the inner conductor end of the inner conductor and to a middle conductor end of a middle conductor. The photodiode is electrically connected to the inner conductor surface. The seal assembly is triaxial so as to protect the current generated by the photodiode. The seal assembly withstands temperatures up to or greater than about 325° C. The seal assembly forms a hermetic barrier that, with the photodiode supported within a sealed volume, limits the passage of materials/gases through the seal assembly.

The flame sensor apparatus includes an electrical assembly remote from a sensor assembly. A cable assembly extends between the sensor assembly and the electrical assembly. The cable assembly includes two cable ends and a housing that defines an internal volume. Cable fittings are connected to the cable ends through a first seal. An electrical cable is inserted through cable fitting openings in each cable fitting and the internal volume of the housing. A second seal is located in the annular spaces between the electrical cable and each cable fitting opening, configured to prevent moisture and contaminants from passing through the cable fitting opening. Additionally, a method of sealing an electrical cable and a flexible conduit is provided.
