Patent number: 12103256Abstract: A light guide bender (also referred to as an optical tube bender) is provided including an integrated bending mechanism that allows the surgical tube to be bent to the appropriate length (e.g., matching the retractor height). By bending the tube at an angle, potential obstruction caused by the optical fiber is reduced and the need to create various lengths of optical tubing is also eliminated. In one embodiment, the surgical tube may also include markings designating length of the surgical tube. For example, if 200 mm of surgical tubing is needed, then the marking for 200 mm can be located on the surgical tubing and the tubing can be bent at this location.Type: GrantFiled: August 9, 2021Date of Patent: October 1, 2024Inventors: Joseph Dombrowski, Nicolette Diehl

Publication number: 20240224847Abstract: A lawn mowing apparatus may include sensors that are fastened to both its mower deck and its chassis. The sensors may sense a position of the mower deck in relation to the chassis. The sensed position of the mower deck may be presented to the operator via a dashboard display of the lawn tractor or transmitted via a wireless signal to another device. Based on such sensed position, an operator of the lawn tractor may manually adjust the position of the mower deck until the sensed position of the mower deck is within an acceptable operating range. In some embodiments, servomotors may used to adjust the position of the mower deck until the sensed position of the mower deck is within an acceptable range.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 21, 2024Publication date: July 11, 2024Inventors: Kenneth Joseph Dombrowski, Grant Kiel, Brian Todd Reese

Publication number: 20080288314Abstract: The preferred embodiments of the present invention provide a system and method for the improved management and distribution of advertising specifications for publications. The management system preferably includes a plurality of publishers, a central repository, and a plurality of users. The publisher develops a set of advertisement specifications for use with their publication and posts the specifications as a template on their server. The set of advertisement specifications is then retrieved and stored at the central repository by an intelligent software agent. Templates stored at the central repository may then later be requested by any of a plurality of users, such as advertising agencies, for use in creating advertisements. The central repository preferably stores sets of advertisement specifications representing a large number of publications so that the user may use the central repository as one-stop-shopping for all the user's specification needs for a variety of publications.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 6, 2008Publication date: November 20, 2008Inventors: Paul Joseph Dombrowski, Michael Richard Skurski
