  • Publication number: 20240101117
Abstract: A number of illustrative variations may include a system including brake-to-steer algorithms may achieve lateral control of a vehicle without longitudinal compensation but may also force a vehicle to slow down too rapidly before appropriate lateral movement can be achieved and may deliver an unnatural driving experience for vehicle occupants. A more natural feeling deceleration may be achieved by optimally selecting appropriate transmission shifts to allow for optimal engine speed or electric motor speed and torque based on current vehicle speed thereby reducing undesirably longitudinal disturbance.

  • Patent number: 11941764
Abstract: A computer system displays a representation of a field of view of the one or more cameras, including a representation of a portion of a three-dimensional physical environment that is in the field of view of the one or more cameras. The computer system receives a request to add a first virtual effect to the displayed representation of the field of view of the one or more cameras. In response to receiving the request to add the first virtual effect to the displayed representation of the field of view of the one or more cameras and in accordance with a determination that the first virtual effect requires a scan of the physical environment, the computer system initiates a scan of the physical environment to detect one or more features of the physical environment and displays a user interface that indicates a progress of the scan of the physical environment.

  • Patent number: 11860995
Abstract: A method to implement traceability and provability on a particular project in software development based on blockchain-recorded transactions of assigned developer time, the method comprising of the following steps: setting up a blockchain network comprised of a distributed, redundant, and tamper-resistant ledger; issuing each user an attestable pre-fabricated and signed virtualized environment on approved hardware that comes with functionality required for the user's role implemented as one of a set of virtual machine templates fashioned from a signed and approved pre-fabricated image; and verifying that assigned developer time is valid, and if so, record each development action on the ledger to enable extensive tracking and auditing of end-to-end software development process.

  • Patent number: 11839453
Abstract: Soft capacitive pressure sensors for continuous wearable health monitoring applications are described herein. Wrinkled gold thin films on elastomeric substrates are used as robust parallel plate electrodes to create a robust integration with the polymer, allowing repeated normal force to deform the thin film without failure. By incorporating micro-ridged structures that support the counter electrodes to create air cavities within the elastomeric dielectric layer, pressure sensitivity is further increased. The pressure sensors are configured to measure human physiological signals such as pressure exerted from a radial pulse on a skin's surface. The radial pulse pressure detected by the sensor can be correlated to an arterial blood pressure. Calibration of said pressure sensors using a neural network allows for determination of absolute blood pressure.

  • Patent number: 9787632
Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a network device and/or method for centralized configuration with dynamic distributed address management. The disclosed network device receives, at a first network node, a range of sub network addresses and a specified size for a sub network. The disclosed network device then divides the range of sub network addresses into a plurality of sub-ranges of sub network addresses based on the specified size. Further, the network device allocates the plurality of sub-ranges of sub network addresses to a plurality of sub networks, and transmits an allocated sub-range of sub network addresses to a corresponding sub network at a second network node through an established secure communication channel. Moreover, the network device can retrieve a profile template that includes the range of sub network addresses and the specified size of the sub network; and create a profile based on the profile template.

  • Patent number: 9503371
Abstract: Some embodiments provide a method for a network controller in a network control system that manages a plurality of logical networks. The method receives a specification of a logical network that includes a logical router. The method selects at least two host machines to implement a routing table for the logical router from several host machines designated for hosting logical routers. The selected host machines include a designated master host machine for the routing table. The method generates data tuples for provisioning a set of managed forwarding elements that implement the logical network to send data packets that require processing by the routing table to the selected host machines. The data tuples specify an order for the selected host machines with the designated master host machine as the first host machine in the specified order.
