Abstract: An illumination system (1) providing various apparatus and methods to facilitate task (8) and path (7) illumination for domestic animals (3). Particular embodiments of the invention comprise a light sensor (5) and a motion sensor (2) to actuate light dispersion (4) to facilitate illumination for domestic animals (3) during path (7), egress (11), and task (8) activities. Other embodiments of the invention include a power source utilizing solar (6), plug-in, or batteries. Other embodiments of the invention provide integrated and non-integrated solutions utilizing ceiling and wall mount orientation.

Abstract: A vehicle collision warning system and method detects a rear-center area impending collision and a rear-lateral-corner area impending collision, and controls an operator alarm in one of a standard mode and a towing mode. In the standard mode, the operator alarm is controlled to provide an alert to an operator when the rear-center area impending collision is detected and/or the rear-lateral-corner area impending collision is detected. In the towing mode, the operator alarm is controlled to provide the alert to the operator when the rear-lateral-corner area impending collision is detected by the rear-lateral-corner area impending collision detection module, and to provide no alert to the operator when the rear-center impending collision is detected by the rear-center area impending collision detection module.

Abstract: The present invention extends to methods, systems, and computer program products for providing information (e.g. advertisements) to a mobile device based on the location of the mobile device. The location of a mobile device can be tracked to determine when to provide the information to the mobile device. After information has been displayed on the mobile device, the location of the mobile device can be tracked to determine whether the mobile device comes within a specified proximity of a location associated with the information. For example, the information can be for an event at a first location. The invention can track whether and when the mobile device comes within a specified proximity of the first location after the information for the event is displayed.
