  • Publication number: 20240161573
Abstract: Disclosed are methods for augmenting information presented in association with a gaming device. The methods include controlling a camera on a mobile device using an augmented reality gaming assistance component and enabling a user to employ the camera to capture an image of a game screen display. The captured image is sent via a network to a server that determines a game paytable, a current state of the game and a current wager amount from the captured image, then determines one or more possible strategies for the game based on that data. The game paytable, current state, current wager amount and one or more possible strategies are then transmitted to the mobile device and displayed. At least one of the possible strategies may be selected at the mobile device, wherein the odds of one or more possible game outcomes for the selected strategy are displayable on the display.

  • Patent number: 11959373
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to projecting control parameters of equipment associated with forming a wellbore, stimulating the wellbore, or producing fluid from the wellbore. A system includes the equipment and a computing device. The computing device is operable to project a control parameter value of the equipment using an equipment control process, and to receive confirmation that the projected control parameter value is within an allowable operating range. The computing device is also operable to adjust the equipment control process based on the confirmation, and to control the equipment to operate at the projected control parameter value. Further, the computing device is operable to receive real-time data associated with the forming of the wellbore, the stimulating of the wellbore, or the producing fluid from the wellbore. Furthermore, the computing device is operable to adjust the equipment control process based on the real-time data.

  • Patent number: 11962868
Abstract: One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for delivering video streams are provided. In an example, a first video stream chunk of a video stream is received. The first video stream chunk is transmitted to a first client device in response to a determination that the first video stream chunk is not associated with a quality issue. A second video stream chunk of the video stream is received. The second video stream chunk is analyzed to determine whether the second video stream chunk is associated with one or more quality issues. A first quality issue associated with the second video stream chunk is detected. A request for a corrective video stream chunk is transmitted to a cache node based upon the first quality issue. The corrective video stream chunk is received from the cache node. The corrective video stream chunk is transmitted to the first client device.

  • Patent number: 11921520
Abstract: Systems and methods for coordinating and controlling vehicles, for example heavy trucks, to follow closely behind each other, or linking to form a platoon. In one aspect, on-board controllers in each vehicle interact with vehicular sensors to monitor and control, for example, gear ratios on vehicles. A front vehicle can shift a gear which, via a vehicle-to-vehicle communication link, can cause a rear vehicle to shift gears. To maintain a gap, vehicles may shift gears at various relative positions based on a grade of a road.

  • Publication number: 20240071593
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed that provide smart alerts to users, e.g., alerts to users about diabetic states that are only provided when it makes sense to do so, e.g., when the system can predict or estimate that the user is not already cognitively aware of their current condition, e.g., particularly where the current condition is a diabetic state warranting attention. In this way, the alert or alarm is personalized and made particularly effective for that user. Such systems and methods still alert the user when action is necessary, e.g., a bolus or temporary basal rate change, or provide a response to a missed bolus or a need for correction, but do not alert when action is unnecessary, e.g., if the user is already estimated or predicted to be cognitively aware of the diabetic state warranting attention, or if corrective action was already taken.

  • Patent number: 11915552
Abstract: Disclosed are methods for augmenting progressive meter information presented in association with a gaming device. The methods include controlling a camera on a mobile device using an augmented reality gaming assistance component and enabling a user to employ the camera to capture an image of a game screen display, the image including one or more progressive meters associated with a respective progressive award. The captured image is sent via a network to a server that, for each of one or more progressive meters, determines a location of the progressive meters within the captured image, determines a value for each associated progressive award based on the captured image at each respective location, and determines a progressive rating for the associated progressive award based on the value. Content based on the one or more progressive ratings is received at the mobile device and displayed to the user via a display.
