Patent number: 11957773Abstract: A hair conditioner composition containing an aqueous carrier, from about 2.5 wt % to about 6.7 wt % of a behenamidopropyl dimethylamine, from about 3 wt % to about 8 wt % of a fatty alcohol; and less than 1.5 wt % of a salt. The molar ratio of behenamidopropyl dimethylamine to fatty alcohol can be from about 7:50 to about 4:5. The conditioner composition can have a uniform gel network. The composition can have d-spacing of less than 32 nm, as measured according to the d-spacing (L?-basal spacing) of Lamella Gel Network Test Method.Type: GrantFiled: December 1, 2020Date of Patent: April 16, 2024Assignee: The Procter & Gamble CompanyInventors: Jean Jianqun Zhao, Lauren Elizabeth Ballhaus, Heather Lynn Focht, David Joseph Kaufman, Christina Marie McQueen, Deborah Mulligan, Lina Aurora Witte

Patent number: 11896426Abstract: A system and method for non-invasive and quantitative assessment of the status of bone tissue in a bony member within a living organism are provided. In one embodiment, the system includes a transducer and a controller that causes the transducer to generate a pair of axial ultrasound signals traveling in opposite directions along a longitudinal axis of the bony member and a radial ultrasound signal traveling towards and into the bony member. The transducer receives multiple portions of each of the axial ultrasound signals and multiple portions of the radial ultrasound signal reflected by the bony member and generates axial and pulse-echo output signals in response. The controller processes the axial and pule-echo output signals to obtain an axial transmission time delay and a pulse-echo time delay, respectively, and generates an estimate of a characteristic of the bone tissue responsive to the axial-transmission and pulse-echo time delays.Type: GrantFiled: December 4, 2019Date of Patent: February 13, 2024Inventor: Jonathan Joseph Kaufman

Patent number: 11364553Abstract: A robotic forming system and method for forming a tapered hole in a workpiece include a housing and a nose extending from the housing. The housing defines an internal chamber. A vacuum gate is in fluid communication with an internal cavity of the nose. A seal is within the nose. A first spindle includes a first operative head. The first spindle is retained within the internal chamber. The first spindle is configured to be moved between a first stowed position within the housing and a first operating position in which the first operative head extends into the nose. The first operative head is configured to form an initial hole within the workpiece. A second spindle includes a second operative head. The second spindle is retained within the internal chamber. The second spindle is configured to be moved between a second stowed position within the housing and a second operating position in which the second operative head extends into the nose.Type: GrantFiled: March 17, 2020Date of Patent: June 21, 2022Inventors: Trevor Hartnagel, Kip Ryan Kuldell, Joseph A. Kaufman, James A. Hammond, Jr., Christian E. Schaefer, Russell DeVlieg, Patrick Dunn

Publication number: 20210256805Abstract: Systems and methods enable one or more players to play a wagering game having virtual cards. A game system includes a game server configured to connect to at least one mobile gaming device over a network. The game server includes a processor configured to provide a wagering game having virtual cards to a player using the gaming device. Each wagering game is played by players at a virtual table who are dealt virtual cards to form a hand, and the hand satisfying a winning criterion is determined to be a winning hand. The game system also includes a database that may be implemented as a non-relational database configured to be connected to the game server. The database is configured to store a state of the hands of each table as a plurality of document-oriented datasets. The mobile gaming device may automatically re-authenticate to the game server after a disconnection.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 4, 2021Publication date: August 19, 2021Inventors: Eric Colvin, Paul Zain, Matthew Joseph Kaufman, Tobias Block
