Publication number: 20250075136Abstract: A process for hydroprocessing a sustainable feedstock is disclosed. The process comprises hydrocracking a hydrocracking feed stream comprising greater than 90% paraffins in a hydrocracking reactor in the presence of hydrogen over a hydrocracking catalyst comprising one or more Group VIII metal and/or Group VIB to provide a hydrocracked stream. The hydrocracking reactor is operated at a temperature of about 290° C. (550° F.) to about 450° C. (842° F.) and a pressure of about 2.7 MPa (gauge) (400 psig) to about 20.7 MPa (gauge) (3000 psig). The hydrocracked stream is hydroisomerized in a hydroisomerization reactor in the presence of hydrogen over a hydroisomerization catalyst to provide a hydroisomerized stream. The hydroisomerized stream is separated to provide a jet fuel stream, a diesel stream, and an unconverted oil stream.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 28, 2024Publication date: March 6, 2025Inventors: John Anthony Petri, Geoffrey William Fichtl, Joseph Kozlowski, Jan de Ren, Dhineshkumar Kandaraj

Patent number: 12190097Abstract: Systems and methods support updates peripheral devices that may be coupled to an Information Handling System (IHS), such as provided at shared-use workstations. The IHS reports, to a remote orchestrator, an inventory of peripheral devices that are coupled to the IHS. In response, the remote orchestrator provides the IHS with files for updates to some or all of the coupled peripheral devices. As part of the updates, the remote orchestrator also designates a specific peripheral device as a proxy for making updates to other peripherals of the shared-use workstation. The IHS transmits the files to the proxy peripheral device, where the files are stored in a memory of the proxy peripheral device. The proxy peripheral device uses the files to update the other peripherals of the shared-use workstation, such as when the peripherals are not in use by the IHS, or after the IHS has been disconnected.Type: GrantFiled: January 19, 2023Date of Patent: January 7, 2025Assignee: Dell Products, L.P.Inventors: Carlton A. Patent number: 12073233Abstract: Systems and methods are provided that support configuration of settings of an Information Handling System (IHS), such as by external configuration tools that are delegated authority to configure any portion of the configurable settings of IHS. During factory provisioning of the IHS, an inventory of configurable settings of the IHS is generated and permissions are assigned for configuration of a portion of the configurable IHS settings by a configuration tool. During the factory provisioning, credentials are stored to the IHS for authenticating communications from the assigned configuration tool. Once the IHS has been delivered and deployed, configuration of the assigned portion of IHS is allowed when configuration requests from the assigned configuration tool are successfully validated against the credentials stored to the IHS during factory provisioning. The configurable settings of the IHS may include BIOS settings, operating system settings and settings supported by hardware components of the IHS.Type: GrantFiled: January 14, 2022Date of Patent: August 27, 2024Assignee: Dell Products, L.P.Inventors: Carlton A. Publication number: 20240249293Abstract: Systems and methods support transfer of an Information Handling System (IHS) from a first individual to a second individual. Upon notification of the transfer of the IHS, a credential of the second individual is received and an inventory is generated of detected hardware of the IHS. The generated hardware inventory is signed using the credential received from the second individual and the signed hardware inventory is published, thus establishing the inventory at the time the transfer is initiated. Upon actual transfer of the IHS to the second individual, another inventory of detected IHS hardware is generated and the published hardware inventory signed using the credential of the second individual is retrieved. The inventory of detected IHS hardware generated by the second individual is compared against the signed hardware inventory generated at the time the transfer was initiated in order to identify any discrepancies in the IHS hardware.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 20, 2023Publication date: July 25, 2024Applicant: Dell Products, L.P.Inventors: Joseph Kozlowski, Charles D. Publication number: 20240248975Abstract: An Information Handling System (IHS), such as an IHS supporting workspaces employing subject workspace data, and/or an IHS of a workspace orchestration service may identify each modification to the subject data, identify each trusted entity performing each trusted operation on the data, and identify each unauthorized or undocumented modification to the data, each based, at least in part, on each gap in identification of each trusted entity performing each trusted operation on the data. Whereupon, a security score of the data may be decremented for each identified unauthorized or undocumented modification to the data. A data passport may be implemented, in which each modification to the data is identified. This data passport may be a ledger, such as a blockchain, a log file, such as an Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) server log file, rendered content from layered applications, such as a certificate chain (e.g., a final leaf certificate node).Type: ApplicationFiled: January 20, 2023Publication date: July 25, 2024Applicant: Dell Products, L.P.Inventors: Joseph Kozlowski, Nicholas D. Publication number: 20240250978Abstract: An Information Handling System (IHS), such as a workspace orchestration service IHS, observes location information of a device, and receives location information logged by the device. The observed location information may include telemetry of the device, and/or the received device-logged location information may include below-OS telemetry of the device The IHS correlates the observed location information with the received device-logged location information, and adjusts a security score of the device in accordance with the resulting correlation. Where the device is a workspace instantiation client IHS, the logged location information is logged by the workspace, and the security score is the security score of the workspace. Also, the workspace orchestration service IHS may build a definition for the workspace, that includes one or more localized entitlements for the workspace, or may build the workspace definition to include remediation action, based on the location information and/or adjusted security score.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 20, 2023Publication date: July 25, 2024Applicant: Dell Products, L.P.Inventors: Nicholas D. Patent number: 11750654Abstract: Embodiments provide access to enterprise data via a secured virtual environment hosted on an Information Handling System (IHS), with the integrity of the IHS validated prior to launching the virtual environment. The integrity of the IHS may also be continuously validated during operation of the launched virtual environment. Policies for accessing the enterprise data are stored in a secured memory that is isolated from the operating system of the IHS. A virtual environment is configured, according to the policies, with resources for a particular user to access the enterprise data. If the integrity of the IHS is validated by a trusted resource on the IHS, the virtual environment is launched. During operation of the virtual environment, the trusted resource periodically confirms the integrity of the IHS. If the integrity of the IHS is not verified or policy changes are identified, access to the secured workspace may be revoked.Type: GrantFiled: April 25, 2018Date of Patent: September 5, 2023Assignee: Dell Products, L.P.Inventors: David Konetski, Carlton A.
