  • Publication number: 20230253100
Abstract: Embodiments herein describe a patient evaluation system that predicts a revenue stream corresponding to a patient if admitted into a healthcare facility. In one embodiment, the patient evaluation system parses medical records corresponding to a patient to automatically identify inputs into a daily rate calculator for determining a reimbursement or cost rate (e.g., a daily rate) corresponding to the patient. In addition to determining this rate, the patient evaluation system can use a ML model to estimate or predict the length of stay of the patient. Using the reimbursement or cost rate and the predicted length of stay, the patient evaluation system can estimate or predict the revenue stream corresponding to patient's stay at the healthcare facility. This information can be output in a graphical user interface which can be used to decide whether or not to recommend the patient be admitted to the healthcare facility.

  • Publication number: 20230063045
Abstract: A configuration system may generate synthetic datasets based on machine learning, and may provide the synthetic datasets in order to configure, train, test, and/or otherwise modify operation of network equipment and/or other devices. The configuration system may receive a sampling of data used by the particular network equipment, and may determine parameters that define values for the variables represented in the sampling. The configuration system may generate different datasets based on the parameters, and may determine an accuracy of each dataset to the sampling based on the values of each dataset conforming by different amounts to the parameters that define the values for the variables represented in the sampling by different amounts. The configuration system may modify the network equipment operation using the values from a particular dataset in response to determining that the accuracy of the particular dataset is greatest to the sampling.

  • Publication number: 20230043793
Abstract: Techniques for determining anomalous user behavior in connection with an online application are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method is disclosed comprising obtaining user behavior data in connection with a user of an application, generating feature data using the obtained user behavior data, obtaining one or more user behavior anomaly predictions from one or more anomaly prediction models trained to output a user behavior anomaly prediction in response to the feature data. Each user behavior anomaly prediction indicates a probability that the user behavior is anomalous. A user behavior anomaly determination is made using the user behavior anomaly prediction(s).

  • Publication number: 20230012721
Abstract: Example embodiments provide systems and methods for simulating a disease outbreak based on a limited number of input parameters. In one embodiment, a disease severity level is computed based on a relationship between leaf wetness duration and average temperature during a wetness period. The resulting model can be a physical, deterministic model that accepts hourly weather data as input and outputs the most significant severity event of disease infection during a specified period.

  • Patent number: 11555946
Abstract: Example embodiments provide systems and methods for simulating a disease outbreak using a relatively simple formula based on a limited number of input parameters. In particular, disease severity is computed based on a relationship between leaf wetness duration and average temperature during a wetness period. The resulting model is a physical, deterministic model that accepts hourly weather data as input and outputs the most significant severity event of disease infection during a specified (e.g., one-day) period. This information can then be used to guide the application of various treatments when they can be most effective (e.g., when predicted disease severity is at its worst).

  • Publication number: 20220396085
Abstract: In one example, a process to control condensation in an inkjet web printer includes injecting hot, dry air into the print zone. In another example, a shroud assembly includes a shroud spanning a full width of the print zone and having openings therein through which printheads are exposed during printing and an air injector attached to or integral with the shroud. The air injector spans a full width of the print zone upstream from all of the openings in the shroud. The air injector is configured to discharge air down and downstream with respect to a print media moving through the print zone during printing.

  • Publication number: 20220358509
Abstract: Methods and systems are described herein for providing an evaluation system and an improved user interface to assist with decision making regarding particular operations. The evaluation system may collect, collate, store, and evaluate information from multiple sources and data of multiple types. The improved user interface may acquire, store, process, and display such relevant information efficiently and compactly for making an authorization decision. An evaluation system uses this data to create assessment scores for multiple people being evaluated for a variety of factors. The combined scores are displayed on the improved user interface for enabling improved visualization to decide if a particular operation is approved or denied.

  • Publication number: 20220179865
Abstract: Search requests are processed in a distributed database environment which includes a frontend module, one or more clients, a cache, a live data source, and multiple data records. Each data record includes at least one stable data piece stored in the cache and at least one volatile data piece. The frontend module receives a search request from a client and retrieves from the cache a set of data records. Each stable data piece in the set of data records corresponds to search criteria indicated in the search request. Current volatile data pieces, which correspond to the stable data pieces of the retrieved set of data records, are retrieved by the frontend module from the live data source for the retrieved set of data records. A completed set of data records is generated by combining the stable data pieces and the current volatile data pieces, and returned to the requesting client.
