  • Patent number: 12005615
Abstract: Various examples are provided related to polyurethane spray foam and its application. In one example, a method includes providing a system including a polyurethane spray foam (“SPF”) raw material supply, a fluid handling system, an air source, a heated hose, a whip hose, and a metal stray gun. Each of part A and part B material streams, either or both of which include particles, are generated by the system and conveyed by the system through the system and into a disposable mixing nozzle engaged with the metal stray gun. A mixture of the part A and part B material streams can be applied, via the disposable mixing nozzle, to a surface or into a mold at a pressure of 250 psi or less. A polyurethane spray foam coating generated from the method can be applied at a thickness of from about 0.5 inches to about 12 inches.

  • Patent number: 11983703
Abstract: Disclosed is a method and system, in FIG. 1, for verifying authenticity of specific personal data responsive to a unique wallet address (70) on a public ledger (66) of an unregulated platform (60). The wallet contains one or more non-transferable NFTs each locked to the wallet and related to specific personal data. The non-transferable NFT was minted from a regulated platform (27) to which there is a record (76) in the public ledger. Supplying the unique address of the wallet to a service supplier affects a log-in of a client (18) to the service supplier (90), whereafter message interactions over a network (12) between the service supplier and the unregulated platform (60) permits searching for a relevant (72) non-transferable NFTs (74) stored in the wallet and related to the specific personal data. Return of any relevant non-transferable NFT related to the personal data thus verifies authenticity of the specific personal data by association with a regulated platform.

  • Publication number: 20240154794
Abstract: A framework for authenticating firewall and encryption devices (FEDs) as endpoints of a secure tunnel using quantum-based secrets keys are provided. The secure tunnel is between two network sites. A quantum key distribution (QKD) subsystem is collocated, in part, with a first network site in another part, with a second network site. The QKD subsystem generates and shares at least one quantum-based secret key with respective key hosts in the first network site and second network site. Each FED obtains the same quantum-based secret key from the respective key host and authenticate each other as endpoints of the secure tunnel to be established between the first network site and the second network site through the public network. The authentication may be repeated.

  • Publication number: 20240095983
Abstract: Various techniques facilitate the development of an image library that can be used to train and/or validate an automated visual inspection (AVI) model, such an AVI neural network for image classification. In one aspect, an arithmetic transposition algorithm is used to generate synthetic images from original images by transposing features (e.g., defects) onto the original images, with pixel-level realism. In other aspects, digital inpainting techniques are used to generate realistic synthetic images from original images. Deep learning-based inpainting techniques may be used to add, remove, and/or modify defects or other depicted features. In still other aspects, quality control techniques are used to assess the suitability of image libraries for training and/or validation of AVI models, and/or to assess whether individual images are suitable for inclusion in such libraries.

  • Patent number: 11919025
Abstract: A method and apparatus for applying a foamed mixture of paints on a structural surface. A continuous stream of high velocity gas moves through a nozzle and is directed toward the structural surface, and two or more paints may be intermittently moved into the gas stream of the nozzle and aerated and mixed with each other and moved with the gas stream to form a foam that is applied to the structural surface. The components of the foamed mixture may include single component or plural component materials such as polyurethane foam, adhesive, and polyurea formulations, and may be moved through a volumetric metering device consisting of material heaters, a heated hose, and an applicator gun. The nitrogen gas stream fluidizes the mixture as it passes through and out of the nozzle and forms the mixture into a foam that is applied to the structural surface.

  • Patent number: 11915326
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a concept for determining the relevance of a tag within a post. Responsive to receiving a post composed by a first user and containing a tag referring to a second user, a post context based on a topic of the post, a user context based on a record of the first user and a tag context based on a record of the second user are obtained. The post context and the user context are compared to the tag context, and it is determined whether the tag is relevant to the post and the first user based on comparing the post context and the user context to the tag context.
