  • Publication number: 20240152319
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing supplemental information with a response to a command are provided herein. In some embodiments, audio data representing a spoken command may be received by a cloud-based information system. A response to the command may be retrieved from a category related to the context of the command. A supplemental information database may also be provided that is pre-populated with supplemental information related to an individual having a registered account on the cloud-based information system. In response to retrieving the response to the command, supplemental information may be selected from the supplemental information database to be appended to the response to the command. A message may then be generated including the response and the supplemental information appended thereto, which in turn may be converted into audio data representing the message, which may be sent to a voice-controlled electronic device of the individual.

  • Patent number: 6032980
Abstract: A corner assembly for a protective rollover structure of a work machine is disclosed. The corner assembly includes a first tube having a first inner wall, a first outer wall, a first right lateral wall, and a first left lateral wall which collective define a first interior space. The first inner wall of the first tube has a first gusset slot defined therein. The corner assembly also has a second tube having a second inner wall, a second outer wall, a second right lateral wall, and a second left lateral wall which collective define a second interior space. The second inner wall of the second tube has a second gusset slot defined therein. The corner assembly further includes a gusset having a first inner leg, a first outer leg, a second inner leg, and a second outer leg.

  • Patent number: 5667020
Abstract: A blade assembly of a motor grader includes a drawbar frame adapted for mounting to the motor grader and a circle frame adapted for mounting a blade thereto. A number of shoe assemblies are mounted to the drawbar frame in a circular array and support the circle frame and blade for rotational movement against the drawbar frame. The circle frame includes a circular frame portion and a number of ring gear segments mounted to the circular portion in a circular array. Each of the ring gear segments includes gear teeth adapted for engaging drive means of the drawbar frame. The circular portion and the ring gear segments define an assembly slidingly received between the shoe assemblies and the drawbar frame. The circular portion is slidingly received against the shoe assemblies, and the ring gear segments are slidingly received against the drawbar frame. Bearing members are disposed between the circular portion and the shoe assemblies and between the ring gear segments and the drawbar frame.

  • Patent number: 5655798
Abstract: A door hold-open latch and dual release mechanism includes a first latch for maintaining the door in its closed position and a second latch for maintaining the door in its open position. A first latch release is mounted on the door in a position accessible to an operator located in the cab for releasing the first latch. A second latch release is mounted on the door in a position accessible to an operator located in the cab for releasing the second latch. A third latch release is mounted on the door in a position accessible to an operator located on the ground for also releasing the second latch. The operator can actuate the second latch from either the cab using the second latch release or from ground level using the third latch release. Alternately, the third latch release can also release the first latch, and the operator can actuate the first latch using the third latch release.

  • Patent number: 5636867
Abstract: A rollover protective structure (ROPS) for use with construction machinery includes a base, four upright posts attached to the base and cross members attached between the posts to define generally a box-like structure. Two of the posts define a forward side of the structure. The other two posts define opposing ends of the structure. First and second reinforcing members are attached within the first and second posts to the forward sides, respectively, for selective reinforcement of the forward sides. Third and fourth reinforcing members are attached within the third and fourth posts to the opposing ends for selective reinforcement of the opposing ends, respectively. The first and second reinforcing members extend between the base member and cross member, and the third and fourth reinforcing members extend between the base member to above the cross member.

  • Patent number: 5586784
Abstract: A rollover protective structure (ROPS) for use with construction machinery includes a two-post frame having upright posts attached between a base and canopy and cross members attached between the posts. The posts are constructed from a pair of angled post members to define a box-like cross-section for the posts. The posts have rounded interior corners and square interior corners between adjacent sides thereof. Reinforcing members are attached between the adjacent sides and across the rounded interior corners to uniformly stiffen the post. Additionally, reinforcing members are attached between the base and upright posts to reinforce the intersection thereof. The reinforcing members include an upper portion attached between the post and base and a lower portion attached between the upper portion and base. The upper portion and the lower portion are constructed to collapse sequentially to maintain resistance to additional load deformation as the rollover protective structure is deformed.
