  • Patent number: 11104518
Abstract: A dispensation system having a hopper that is located remote to the remainder of the dispensation system. The hopper can be located remote from a delivery system and a conveyor or other transmitting device can connect the hopper to the delivery system. The hopper can therefore be located in an area that is more accessible or less valued than the area in which the products or objects are dispensed, allowing a more efficient product distribution system.

  • Patent number: 8002623
Abstract: This invention provides methods and devices for presenting a plurality of game elements on one or more display devices. The game elements may comprise, for example, bingo cards, playing cards, hands of playing cards, etc. Some implementations of the invention involve displaying a plurality of game elements as surfaces of a three-dimensional object. Preferably, the orientation of the three-dimensional object can be varied to display selected game elements. The game elements may be selected by a player and/or by a logic device. In some implementations, the three-dimensional object comprises a “carousel” that can be re-oriented (e.g., rotated) to display game elements.

  • Publication number: 20020141760
Abstract: A device comprising a means and method, and a means and method of presentation to a human body component, as in the form of an application or a coating, or another form, such as a pre-formed lense, to and for protecting the human eye or other organs or parts of the human body from injury from elecrtomotive-force weapons, radiant energy weapons or sources, light or sound powered devices or weapons, or from any other energy sources, such as the Sun, or from the flashes of high-intensity camera strobe lights, for example, which may be capable of providing sufficient radiant energy, directed energy, for example, LASER, in the direction of the wearer, to cause temporary blindness, vertigo, loss of consciousness, confusion, disorientation or other undersirable physical conditions.

  • Patent number: 5807724
Abstract: Organisms that degrade hydrocarbon-based substances are encapsulated in wax to form organism-containing wax microshells that are used for removing oil-based substances such as oil spills on land and water. The organism is preferably of the genus Candida that produce lipase. The microshell may contain nutrients that sustain the organism. The wax is paraffin wax or beeswax, and the microshell may be coated with talc or carbon powder to provide insulation and to prevent one microshell from sticking to another. When used for remediating an oil spill on water, the microshells are preferably contained in a buoyant container that acts as a flotation device. The flotation device may contain flotation means such as gas-filled microballoons that facilitate flotation.

  • Patent number: 5163504
Abstract: A container, having a plurality of microspheres, the microspheres containing substances, which when liberated from the microspheres, result in an endothermic or exothermic reaction or change of state resulting in a temperature change to the proximate container and contents contained therein, for bringing the contents to a substantially cooled or heated condition with respect to starting temperature.

  • Patent number: 5052146
Abstract: A manufacture including holding means for holding a fishing pole, and attachment means for attaching the holding means to the body of a fisher. The pole carries a reel connected to the pole by way of a stem of the reel. When a fish is brought in, the pole is placed in the holding means, with the stem of the reel held in a locking means. As a result, both hands are free for removal of a hook from the fish.
