  • Publication number: 20250034824
Abstract: A multilayer integral geogrid, including one or more cellular layers, has a plurality of oriented multilayer strands interconnected by partially oriented multilayer junctions with an array of openings therein. The multilayer integral geogrid having one or more cellular layers is produced from a coextruded or laminated multilayer polymer starting sheet. The integral geogrid has a multilayer construction, with at least one outer layer thereof having the cellular structure. By virtue of the cellular layer structure, the multilayer integral geogrid provides for increased layer vertical compressibility under load, resulting in enhanced material properties that provide performance benefits to use of the multilayer integral geogrid to stabilize and strengthen soil, aggregates, or other particulate materials.

  • Patent number: 12208564
Abstract: A monolayer multi-axial integral geogrid suitable for stabilizing aggregate includes a plurality of interconnected oriented strands and partially oriented junctions forming a repeating pattern of outer hexagons having an array of openings therein. Oriented ribs extending inwardly from each of said outer hexagons support and surround a smaller inner hexagon having oriented strands thus forming a plurality of trapezoidal openings and a single hexagonal opening. The oriented strands and partially oriented junctions of the outer hexagons form a plurality of linear strong axis strands that extend continuously throughout the entirety of the geogrid and form additional triangular openings. The geogrid thus includes three different repeating geometric shapes. The inner hexagons preferably also can move up and down, out of the plane of the geogrid. The multi-axial integral geogrid thus provides a geometry configured to engage with, confine and stabilize a large variety and quality of aggregates.

  • Patent number: 12158880
Abstract: Implementations of this disclosure provide an anomaly detection system and methods of performing anomaly detection on a time-series dataset. The anomaly detection may include utilization of a forecasting machine learning algorithm to obtain a prediction of points of the dataset and comparing the predicted value of a point in the dataset with the actual value to determine an error value associated with that point. Additionally, the anomaly detection may include determination of a sensitivity threshold that impacts whether points within the dataset associated with certain error values are flagged as anomalies. The forecasting machine learning algorithm may implement a seasonality component determination process that accounts for seasonality or patterns in the dataset. A search query statement may be automatically generated through importing the sensitivity threshold into a predetermined search query statement that implements that forecasting machine learning algorithm.

  • Patent number: 11994915
Abstract: A case can provide a mechanism for securely retaining a stylus with a host device while the stylus is not in use. Such a mechanism can maintain the alignment of the stylus with the host device for attachment, power transfer, and/or communication. The mechanism can further protect the stylus from impact or other external influences. The same mechanism can transition to a lower profile while not retaining the stylus (e.g., while the stylus is in use as an input device for the host device). Such a mechanism can selectably be placed into a configuration that substantially conceals the mechanism, such that it can temporarily appear to be a case or portion of the host device that does not necessarily have a dedicated receptacle for retaining the stylus.

  • Publication number: 20220412596
Abstract: A variable air flow air conditioning (HVAC) systems and methods are disclosed. In example embodiments, one or more variable speed fans or air-moving devices are in communication with ducts connecting one or more zones of a structure or other space to be air conditioned. Zone temperature sensors and air flow measurement are provided to obtain particular measurements relative to the zone it is serving while communicating with a central control. Optionally, a distributed control system can be provided such that zone sensors communicate with both the central control and its respective zone controller. The control system collects and processes multiple datasets to dynamically and proportionally adjust the volumetric air flows of each of the zones to satisfy any loads or heating/cooling demands while also maintaining a net volumetric air flow across a coil of the indoor heat transfer unit within a preset range.

  • Patent number: 11426216
Abstract: Minimally invasive methods and devices for introducing a spinal fixation element into a surgical site in a patient's spinal column are provided. In general, the method involves advancing a spinal fixation element in a first, lengthwise orientation along a pathway extending from a minimally invasive percutaneous incision to a spinal anchor site. As the spinal fixation element approaches the spinal anchor site, the fixation element can be manipulated to extend in a second orientation, which is preferably substantially transverse to the first orientation, to position the fixation element in relation to one or more spinal anchors.

  • Patent number: 11241262
Abstract: Minimally invasive methods and devices are provided for positioning a spinal fixation element in relation to adjacent spinal anchors. In an exemplary embodiment, the device is a percutaneous access device that can be coupled to a spinal anchor, and the method includes the step of positioning a spinal fixation element through at least one sidewall opening of at least two percutaneous access devices such that the spinal fixation element extends in a lengthwise orientation that is substantially transverse to the longitudinal axis of each percutaneous access device. The spinal fixation element can then be advanced in the lengthwise orientation to seat the spinal fixation element in or adjacent to the receiver heads of at least two adjacent spinal anchors. A fastening element or other closure mechanism can then be applied to each spinal anchor to engage the spinal fixation element within the receiver heads of the adjacent anchors.
