Publication number: 20240320940Abstract: Systems and methods for data asset acquisition and obfuscation can be helpful for retrieving augmented reality rendering data assets from third parties. The sending of a software development kit and receiving back data assets can ensure the data assets are compatible with the augmented reality rendering experience in the user interface. The data acquisition system with obfuscation can also ensure the code generated by third parties is stripped of semantics and has reduced readability.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 7, 2024Publication date: September 26, 2024Inventors: Ivan Neulander, Ian Joseph Roth, Hao Wang, Agustin III Olivan Venezuela, Subramanian Shyamsunder Mathur, Xuemei Zhao, Valdrin Koshi, James Sraw Singh

Publication number: 20240028048Abstract: A control system includes a first input to receive a positional output characteristic of a first vehicle at a first communication frequency and a second input to receive a kinematic output characteristic of the first vehicle at a second frequency, where the second frequency is greater than the first frequency. A guidance controller of a second vehicle is configured to process the kinematic output characteristic of the first vehicle to obtain a heading of the first vehicle, compare the heading of the first vehicle with a heading of the second vehicle to obtain a heading deviation of the second vehicle, and determine a guidance heading of the second vehicle based on the heading deviation of the second vehicle. A control interface is configured to communicate the guidance heading to one or more of steering, throttle or brake elements of the second vehicle.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 21, 2023Publication date: January 25, 2024Inventors: Matthew K. Rust, Joel Jared Kocer, Matthew Michael Rottinghaus, Koby Kevin Jackson, Jacob David Deines, Brandon Joseph Roth, Gustavo de Almeida Martins, Alex John Weidenbach

Patent number: 11587319Abstract: Implementations described herein relate to methods, devices, and computer-readable media to perform gating for video analysis. In some implementations, a computer-implemented method includes obtaining a video comprising a plurality of frames and corresponding audio. The method further includes performing sampling to select a subset of the plurality of frames based on a target frame rate and extracting a respective audio spectrogram for each frame in the subset of the plurality of frames. The method further includes reducing resolution of the subset of the plurality of frames. The method further includes applying a machine-learning based gating model to the subset of the plurality of frames and corresponding audio spectrograms and obtaining, as output of the gating model, an indication of whether to analyze the video to add one or more video annotations.Type: GrantFiled: March 30, 2021Date of Patent: February 21, 2023Assignee: Google LLCInventors: Sharadh Ramaswamy, Sourish Chaudhuri, Joseph Roth

Patent number: 11214264Abstract: One way to improve fuel efficiency of a vehicle is to detect the vehicle operational shortcomings related to fuel consumption by determining whether fuel used during operation of the vehicle is normal fuel use or wasted fuel use. Considerations of idling, speeding and inappropriate gear shifts are some ways to measure the amount of fuel wasted due to operator shortcomings. Communicating this information to the operator in real-time so adjustments can be made will improve vehicle fuel efficiency. These techniques are applicable to tracking employment of other driving best practices as well.Type: GrantFiled: June 27, 2019Date of Patent: January 4, 2022Assignee: VNOMICS CORP.Inventors: David Charles Chauncey, Edward Charles McCarthy, Peter Joseph Roth, Nicholas Allen Elliott

Patent number: 9564394Abstract: An integrated circuit may have interconnect circuitry which may include a sequence of tiles. Each tile may include a predetermined routing of multiple wires on multiple tracks. Wires may change tracks within a tile through wire twisting or through via connections and wires in another metal layer. Wires that change tracks may reduce the overlap between pairs of adjacent wires, thereby reducing the coupling capacitance between the respective wires. Reducing the coupling capacitance may result in reduced crosstalk between the wires which may speed up the signal transition along those wires compared to the signal transition in conventional interconnect circuitry. At the same time, sub-optimal wire stitching in a routing tile that connects a wire that ends in the next routing tile to a wire that starts in the routing tile, whereby the two wires overlap each other may enable beneficial crosstalk, which may further improve signal transition time.Type: GrantFiled: November 18, 2014Date of Patent: February 7, 2017Assignee: Altera CorporationInventors: Aron Joseph Roth, Jeffrey Christopher Chromczak, Michael Chan
