    Abstract: A nozzle assembly for discharging high-pressure liquid. The nozzle assembly includes a housing body and a nozzle shaft rotatably mounted therein. A nozzle head is coupled to the nozzle shaft. The nozzle shaft and the nozzle head define a portion of a fluid pathway extending from an inlet end of the housing body to a set of directional nozzles disposed at a discharge end of the nozzle head. The nozzle shaft and the nozzle head are configured to rotate together in response to a discharge of a liquid from the set of directional nozzles. The nozzle assembly also includes a friction brake assembly housed within the housing body. The friction brake assembly converts a centrifugal force generated by a rotation of the nozzle shaft and the nozzle head into an axial force that reduces a rate of rotation of the nozzle shaft and the nozzle head into a desired range.

    Abstract: A high-pressure liquid nozzle housing encloses a self-rotating speed-controlled nozzle. The nozzle assembly structure comprises a generally cylindrical housing body forming a relatively stationary reference structure with respect to a coaxial rotatable nozzle carrying tubular shaft member contained therein. The tubular shaft member is a rotary structure having an input end in sealed relationship with a connecting high pressure liquid input member. A fluid speed brake mechanism for the spray nozzle is contained in a sealed chamber and comprises an impeller, a stator tube device and a turbine device. Rotation of the tubular nozzle shaft causes the impeller device to accelerate the flow of fluid through the stator tube device and into the turbine device, which imparts a countervailing rotational force to the rotational force generated by the sprayer head nozzle assembly attached to the end of the tubular nozzle shaft.

A slotted box rail has a proximal end clamped to the rotary disc and a linear drive assembly is removably fastened to the slotted box rail. A guide tube collet block assembly clamped to the linear drive assembly removably supports a flexible lance drive and guide tube to guide a flexible lance between the lance drive and a selected one of a plurality of tubes penetrating through the heat exchanger tube sheet.
