  • Patent number: 11951424
Abstract: A sea strainer can include multiple strainers in a configuration for operation to supply strained sea water to a vessel's engines and to perform backflushing of one of the strainers while another of the strainers continues to provide strained sea water to the vessel's engines. A flush pump can be provided to pump water through the strainer to be backflushed as part of the flushing operation.

  • Publication number: 20110078028
Abstract: An interactive online website enabling users to order products or services. The website dynamically provides a prepopulated order sheet displaying at least some sales history of products or services previously purchased by a website user. The order sheet may be organized to display a plurality of categories showing at least some of the products or services purchased by the consumer during a predetermined past period. The website may be configured to permit the user to browse the prepopulated order sheet and to enter order quantities for selected products or services.

  • Publication number: 20100208976
Abstract: A method and system for enhanced check image privacy are disclosed. Embodiments of the present invention provide a way to automatically link the results from quality assurance software to a check image archive to appropriately mark images as unretrievable by customers. Images are interrogated with a data matching algorithm to determine whether a confidence score expressing a likelihood that the image matches associated, stored magnetic ink character recognition (MICR) data is below a pre-set threshold. The image can be then automatically designated in the financial document archive. The image can be displayed to an operator for analysis when the confidence score is above the pre-set threshold and below a pre-set limit, or in cases where the confidence score cannot be determined by the data matching algorithm.

  • Patent number: 4036886
Abstract: Described are processes for preparing novel 4- and 5-phenyl-pentenals, lower alkyl and lower alkylene acetals thereof having the structure: ##STR1## wherein one of X and Y is phenyl and the other of X and Y is hydrogen and A is a moiety selected from the group consisting of: ##STR2## WHEREIN R.sub.b and R.sub.b ' separately are the same or different lower alkyl or R.sub.b and R.sub.b ' taken together form a lower alkylene group either (i) comprising the step of intimately admixing the lithium salt of a Schiff base of acetaldehyde and an amine with a phenyl-substituted compound selected from the group consisting of phenyl alkanals and phenyl alkenyl bromides in order to produce a phenyl-substituted Schiff base and treating said phenyl-substituted Schiff base with an acid, or (ii) comprising the steps of first admixing phenyl propionaldehyde with a tri-substituted formyl methylene phosphorane in a non-reactive solvent and then heating the resulting mixture.
