  • Publication number: 20230098243
Abstract: Described herein are systems and techniques for implementing a third-party item tracking and payment system that enables a user to walk out without a manual checkout process. The techniques include receiving user identifying information associated with a payment account and conveying an identifier of the account to a management system of the retailer. Items, as selected by the user, are added to a virtual cart that is checked out automatically when the user exits the store and the third party system communicates the cart contents to the retailer for cost calculation and then instructs payment using the stored payment information without disrupting existing inventory and account management systems.

  • Patent number: 8966675
Abstract: A device for elevating the height of a toilet includes a plurality of bolt receiving sections configured for receiving the bolts or screws for securing the toilet and device to a soil pipe flange and floor, and includes an outlet section to align with the drain outlet of the toilet and the soil pipe and sealing member positioned in the floor. The base of the device may include a projection that serves as a wax ring retainer lip to accommodate an existing soil pipe flange and wax sealing material. The device can be mounted to a soil pipe flange in the same manner as the toilet would be mounted to the soil pipe flange, but allows the toilet height to be elevated from its standard height using the existing toilet and related equipment already in place.

  • Publication number: 20070060618
Abstract: The present invention is directed to isotopically labeled alkyne derivative compounds, particularly 11C, 13C, 14C, 18F, 15O, 13N, 35S, 2H, and 3H labeled compounds. In particular, the present invention is directed to 11C, 13C, 14C, 18F, 15O, 13N, 35S, 2H, and 3H labeled heterocyclic alkynes and methods of their preparation. The present invention further includes a method of use of the 11C, 18F, 15O, or 13N labeled heterocyclic alkyne compounds as tracers in positron emission tomography (PET) imaging, particularly in the study of metabolic conditions in mammals, specifically conditions modulated by metabotropic glutamate receptors subtype 5 (mGluR5).

  • Patent number: 5526613
Abstract: By incorporating an elongated, generally upstanding, aperture-bearing tube member in the top of a roof drain cover or debris guard, with said elongated pipe extending into the interior of the roof drain assembly, a unique roof drain system is achieved which virtually eliminates clogging of the drain by debris, water, ice or snow buildup. By incorporating the upstanding, elongated pipe member, a safety overflow system is provided which establishes a clog-free flow path for carrying away any water buildup that might otherwise occur from clogged drain covers. Preferably, a generally cylindrically-shaped, elongated tube member is employed which is adjustably mounted to the roof drain cover or debris guard for telescopic, axial adjustable movement relative thereto. In this way, the length of the tube member exposed above the drain cover is adjustable, in order to accommodate alternate roof constructions and drainage problems.
