  • Publication number: 20250118189
Abstract: Systems and methods for identifying a condition associated with an individual in a home environment are provided. Sensors associated with the home environment detect data, which is captured and analyzed by a local or remote processor to identify the condition. In some instances, the sensors are configured to capture data indicative of electricity use by devices associated with the home environment, including, e.g., which devices are using electricity, what date/time electricity is used by each device, how long each device uses electricity, and/or the power source for the electricity used by each device. The processor analyzes the captured data to identify any abnormalities or anomalies, and, based upon any identified abnormalities or anomalies, the processor determines a condition (e.g., a medical condition) associated with an individual in the home environment. The processor generates and transmits a notification indicating the condition associated with the individual to a caregiver of the individual.

  • Patent number: 12268812
Abstract: A control system provides automated control of gas washout of a patient interface, such as a mask or nasal prongs. A gas washout vent assembly of the system may include a variable exhaust area such as one defined by overlapping apertures of the assembly or a conduit having a variable gas passage channel. The vent assembly may be formed by nested structures, such as conic or cylindrical members, each having an opening of the overlapping apertures. The vent assembly may be attached substantially near or included with the patient interface. An actuator of the assembly, such as a solenoid or voice coil, manipulates an aperture of the vent assembly. The actuator may be configured for control by a controller to change the exhaust area of the vent assembly based on various methodologies including, for example, sleep detection, disordered breathing event detection, rebreathing volume calculation and/or leak detection.

  • Publication number: 20250099304
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to bonding a first substrate together a second substrate with adhesives that are substantially tackifier free. A layer of substantially tackifier free adhesive may be applied to a first surface of the second substrate to define an adherence zone, and the first substrate is positioned on the adherence zone of the second substrate to form a laminate. The first and second substrates are pressed against each other in the adherence zone to force the substantially tackifier free adhesive to penetrate into the first and second substrates. A first portion of the layer of the adhesive penetrates into the first substrate and a second portion of the layer of the adhesive penetrates into the second substrate. A central portion of the layer of the adhesive between the first and second portions separates the second surface of the first substrate from the first surface of the second substrate.

  • Patent number: 12262344
Abstract: Implementations for providing a mobility management with optimized paging system in a wireless communication system comprising a core network (CN) node and a user equipment (UE) in operative communication with one another through a base station are disclosed. The paging system may, by way of example, be provided in three stages. The first stage is determining whether the destination base station is the same as the source base station, resulting in either first paging if they are the same or to subjecting the base stations belonging to the tracking area list where the UE is found to filtering if they are not the same. The second paging takes place if the destination base station is present in a list of predicted base stations that come as a result of the filtered base stations. The third paging may take place if the destination base stations is not present in the list of predicted base stations.

  • Publication number: 20250094415
Abstract: A method executed by a computing device includes determining that a set of words are included in a word set. The method further includes determining a set of identigens for each word of the word set to produce sets of identigens, where a set of identigens of the sets of identigens represents one or more different meanings of a word of the word set. The method further includes interpreting, using identigen pairing rules, the sets of identigens to produce an entigen set. The method further includes assigning a single new entigen to represent the entigen set, where the single new entigen represents a most likely meaning interpretation of the word set.

  • Publication number: 20250096117
Abstract: Passive components located outside the IC increase the area of the package and are connected to the circuits inside the IC by long electrical paths that may have high resistance as well as parasitic inductance and capacitance. An IC includes interconnect layers on a surface of a substrate comprising circuits, and the interconnect layers include stacked thin-film inductors formed in interconnect layers to provide noise protection for input signals provided to circuits in the IC while reducing an area of an IC package. The stacked thin-film inductors include a first thin-film inductor stacked between a second thin-film inductor and the surface of the substrate in a direction orthogonal to the surface of the substrate. The thin-film inductors can be formed of layers of magnetic material around a linear interconnect. The interconnect layers may be formed in a back end of line process on one surface of a substrate.

Abstract: The following relates generally to providing virtual reality (VR) alerts to a driver of an autonomous vehicle. For example, a vehicle may be driving autonomously while the driver is watching a VR movie (e.g., on a pair of VR goggles); the driver may then receive a VR alert recommending that the driver take control of the vehicle (e.g., switch the vehicle from autonomous to manual mode). The following also relates to generating a VR feed for presenting real-time road conditions so that a user may preview a road segment. The following also relates to generating a VR feed corresponding to an event (e.g., a vehicle collision, a crime, a weather event, and/or a natural disaster).
