  • Patent number: 10785304
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for a clustered storage system. The method assigns a network access address to a virtual network interface card (VNIC) at a first cluster node of a clustered storage system, where a physical network interface card assigned to the network access address is managed by a second cluster node of the clustered storage system; and use the VNIC by a virtual storage server at the first cluster node to communicate on behalf of the second cluster node.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 1, 2018
Date of Patent: September 22, 2020

  • Patent number: 10100511
Abstract: A dowel supporting device that includes a substantially hollow tube having a top end and a bottom end. An opening may be formed at the top end and a base may be formed at the bottom end. The base of the dowel supporting device may be fastened to a concrete deck. Concrete may be poured into the concrete deck. When dowels are ready to be used, the dowels may be inserted and secured to the dowel supporting device. A cap or thin sealed covering may be placed at the top end of the hollow tube to prevent infiltration of concrete into the tube during a concrete pour. The cap or thin sealed covering may include a raised portion of material which aids in locating the hollow tube after a concrete slab cures around it. A dowel tube extender may be provided which extends a hollow tube to accommodate different concrete slab thicknesses.
