  • Publication number: 20250181357
Abstract: Techniques are described herein that are capable of establishing an internal clock value of an IoT device based at least on a timestamp received from a security service via a secure connection. The IoT device is booted up by setting a time value associated with an internal clock of the IoT device to a default time value. The time value is reset to an updated time value that is received from a trusted time source. A secure connection is established between the IoT device and the security service using the updated time value. A first timestamp is received by the IoT device from the security service via the secure connection. The time value is reset to a second updated time value that is based at least on the first timestamp. An operation that utilizes a second timestamp, which is based at least on the second updated time value, is performed.

  • Publication number: 20250129495
Abstract: A method for the electrochemical synthesis of ammonia (NH3) comprises contacting a nitrogen-containing gas with the cathode of an electrochemical cell comprising a cathode, an anode, an alkaline aqueous electrolyte, and preferably an anion exchange membrane. The cathode is a porous gas diffusion electrode which comprises an active layer comprising a material which is capable of catalyzing the electrochemical reduction of nitrogen and is in contact with the electrolyte, a layer of electroconductive material supporting the active layer, and a porous polymer film on the side of the active layer which does not come into contact with the electrolyte and comes into direct contact with the nitrogen-containing gas. A potential over the electrochemical cell is applied to effect the electrochemical synthesis of ammonia from nitrogen and water. The method can be used to synthesize ammonia without using molecular hydrogen.

  • Publication number: 20250117230
Abstract: Techniques for recording submissions of a user actions in relation to interface elements of a GUI for replay are disclosed. Data arguments generated in response to the user actions required for executing a command associated with the user actions are recorded. A system monitors execution of an application. The system detects a command or action that corresponds to submission of a user action in relation to target interface elements displayed by a GUI. When the system detects the command, the system records the user action in relation to the target interface element and data arguments selected for executing the command. When the system receives a request to replay the submission of the user action, the system retrieves the data arguments for executing the command and causes execution of the command by submitting the user action to the GUI along with the data arguments for executing the command.

  • Publication number: 20240281452
Abstract: This disclosure enables (1) creation of various tags and (2) tagging of various data structures identified above with such tags. Therefore, once tagged, these data structures can be processed by various application programs, without reprograming of these application programs or with minimal reprogramming of these application programs, because these tags accommodate or account for potential changes to these data structures (e.g., in format) that are made before these data structure are received for processing, as explained above. For example, some of such tags may be business user defined categorizations of data structures that can be evaluated during processing of some of such data structures and subsequently used as inputs to a standardized logic, thereby eliminating of reprogramming of these application programs or minimizing reprogramming of these application programs.
