  • Publication number: 20150081363
Abstract: A group-oriented software development technology is described. A software development project with a set of project parameters may be defined. The software development project may be divided into a set of work packages based in part on a desired skill level associated with the work packages. A bidding process may be initiated involving a plurality of software developers, to enable a software developer having the desired skill level for a work package to place a bid to work on the work package. Each of the work packages may be assigned to the software developers upon completion of the bidding process. Implemented packages and documentation may be received for each of the work packages from the software developers. The work packages may be integrated into the software development project upon automatically testing a functionality of the work packages. The software development project that is completed according to the set of project parameters may be provided to a customer.

  • Patent number: 6615631
Abstract: Equipment and method for the rapid and easy extraction of formed metal parts from forming dies while in a press and operating at elevated temperatures. The invention features the controlled supply of streams of air or other inert gas to the interface of the hot surface of the forming die and the formed panel to augment removal so that flaws from removal equipment are minimized for optimized production of high quality parts. High velocity air is discharged through nozzles onto the forming surfaces of hot forming dies to cool the forming die and the part that contract at different rates and pop the part from the surface.

  • Patent number: 6534100
Abstract: The present invention provides methods for changing the composition of a cholesterol-containing foodstuff. The methods comprise the step of culturing a member of the family Tetrahymenidae in a liquid, cholesterol-containing foodstuff under conditions that enable one or more (or all) of the following changes in the composition of the foodstuff: (a) reduction in the level of cholesterol in the treated foodstuff; (b) reduction in the level of saturated fatty acids in the treated foodstuff; (c) increase in the level of unsaturated fatty acids in the treated foodstuff; (d) increase in the level of at least one vitamin D precursor in the treated foodstuff and (e) reduction in the level of at least one protein in the treated foodstuff. The foodstuff can be a dairy product, such as milk or egg yolk.
