  • Patent number: 9294995
Abstract: A method includes determining, at a first cell and for a selected user equipment, a second cell would have a better performing RF interface connection with the selected user equipment than the selected user equipment currently has with the first cell. The first cell can provide radio frequency coverage for the second cell. The method includes sending to the second cell one or more messages indicating the second cell should not enter or be in an energy saving state at least while the selected user equipment or a selected user application on the selected user equipment is connected to the second cell. Another method includes determining a cell should not enter an energy saving state at least while a selected user equipment is connected to the cell; and the cell not entering the energy saving state at least while the selected user equipment is connected to the cell.

  • Publication number: 20130250908
Abstract: A method includes sending a message from a first cell to a second cell comprising an instruction the second cell should enter a non-energy savings mode. The sending is responsive to a detection of one or more RF coverage problems for user equipment in a coverage area of the first cell. The second cell can provide RF coverage for part of a coverage area of the first cell. Another method includes receiving a message at a cell that is in an energy savings mode. The message includes instruction(s) the cell should activate itself and the cell is to deactivate its ability to automatically enter the energy savings mode. The second cell transitions to an active mode and deactivates its ability to automatically enter the energy savings mode. In another method, a cell makes a determination a discontinuous carrier activation mode is to be entered and enters the mode.

  • Patent number: 8513625
Abstract: A photolithographic track system and method for semiconductor wafer manufacture having a plurality of stations for receiving a wafer for sequential processing, including a first group of stations for performing at least a part of a photolithography process. A metrology station is provided in a position of the track system after the first group of stations, for determining whether the processed wafer is within tolerance for at least one critical dimension. If not within tolerance, the wafer is moved by the track system to a stripping station for removal of at least one layer and a return to the beginning of the first group of stations for repeating the performance of a photolithography process. Parameters may also be adjusted for purposes of the repeated performance of the process. If within tolerance, the wafer may be moved for further processing, for example, baking or off loading.
