  • Patent number: 11788232
Abstract: A method of making a fabric-creped absorbent cellulosic sheet. The method includes compactively dewatering a papermaking furnish to form a web having a consistency of about thirty percent to about sixty percent, creping the web under pressure in a creping nip between a transfer surface and a structuring fabric, and drying the web to form the absorbent cellulosic sheet. The absorbent sheet has SAT capacities of at least about 9.5 g/g and at least about 500 g/m2. A creping ratio is defined by the speed of the transfer surface relative to the speed of the structuring fabric, and the creping ratio is less than about 25%.

  • Patent number: 11760427
Abstract: Systems and methods that provide a deployable fairing system to a tractor trailer. The deployable fairing system includes an actuator used to extend the deployable fairing from an unextended configuration to an extended configuration to occupy a portion of a gap area that exists between a tractor and an attached trailer. The deployable fairing includes deployable upper and/or lower horizontal assemblies that are pivotally coupled to a frame attached to the tractor/cab, and two side panels that are pivotally coupled to one or both of the upper and lower horizontal assemblies. The deployable upper and lower horizontal assemblies and the two side panels fold in on one another along multiple hinged axes in the unextended configuration, and extend rearward from the top and sides of the tractor in the extended configuration to cover a portion of the gap. The fairing may advantageously flair from front to the rear.

  • Patent number: 11753772
Abstract: A method of making a fabric-creped absorbent cellulosic sheet. The method includes compactively dewatering a papermaking furnish to form a web having a consistency of about 30 percent to about 60 percent, creping the web under pressure in a creping nip between a transfer surface and a structuring fabric, the structuring fabric including knuckles formed on warp yarns of the structuring fabric, with the knuckles having a length in the machine direction (MD) of the absorbent sheet and a width in the cross machine direction (CD) of the absorbent sheet, wherein a planar volumetric density index of the structuring fabric multiplied by a ratio of the length of the knuckles to the width of the knuckles is at least about 43, and drying the web to form the absorbent cellulosic sheet.

  • Patent number: 11686049
Abstract: A method of making a fabric-creped absorbent cellulosic sheet. The method includes compactively dewatering a papermaking furnish to form a web, creping the web under pressure in a creping nip between a transfer surface and a structuring fabric, the structuring fabric including knuckles formed on warp yarns of the structuring fabric, with the knuckles being positioned along lines that are angled relative to the machine direction of the fabric. The angle of lines relative to the machine direction is between about 10° and about 30°. The method also includes drying the web to form the absorbent cellulosic sheet.

  • Patent number: 11037175
Abstract: The present invention is a web-based software application designed to monitor implementation of an issue. The invention includes receiving information from a user on the issue to be monitored; receiving information from a user on an assignment on the issue; and sending the assignment to a recipient. An acknowledgement is received from the recipient on the assignment. Reminders are forwarded to the recipient when the acknowledgement is not received within a predetermined time period, and the reminders can be automatically forwarded at predetermined time periods. Information is received on the issues from a user or an external source, and listed in a form which can be filtered and sorted according to predetermined criteria. A completion status of the regulatory issue can be displayed.

  • Patent number: 11021840
Abstract: Soft absorbent sheets, structuring fabrics for producing soft absorbent sheets, and methods of making soft absorbent sheets. The soft absorbent sheets have a plurality of domed regions or projected regions extending from a surface of the sheets, and connecting regions form a network between domed regions. The domed and projected regions include indented bars that extend across the domed and projected regions in a substantially cross machine direction of the absorbent sheets. The absorbent sheets can be formed by structuring fabrics that have long warp yarn knuckles.

  • Patent number: 10825029
Abstract: The present invention relates to a web-based software application, in which a server at a publisher compiles a predetermined list of items, such as regulatory, contract, budgeting, and legal issues, and stores them for periodic download to a client. The client would subscribe to the publisher, to receive information on a predetermined set of items. Periodically the server will scan its database and according to the client subscription, will retrieve and forward the predetermined items desired, to the client. The forwarded items will be compiled by the client and presented to the user in an easily viewable and searchable format. The user may choose a particular item to review, and then, if the user determines the item to be a relevant one, the user may transfer the item information to a monitoring software application for future monitoring and/or internal implementation as an issue.
