Abstract: The invention relates to a financial device comprising a reader that receives a request from a mobile device associated with a user for user authentication; an interactive display that displays confirmation of the request from the mobile device; a processor that retrieves an authentication code from the request and processes the authentication code to identify the user and associated privileges and restrictions specific to the user and the request; and a transaction processor that receives a transaction request from the authenticated user and performs the requested transaction in accordance with the associated privileges and restrictions.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments include a hybrid cash recycler device that provides cash handling and extended capabilities for use within a financial institution. The hybrid cash recycler may be configured to support wireless communications with multiple distributed computing devices in a financial institution branch. The wireless connectivity may provide portable command and control capabilities for the hybrid cash recycler. The hybrid cash recycler may be configured to employ queuing mechanisms, in a manner that allows the device to systematically arrange and execute multiple command requests initiated from several computing devices. The hybrid cash recycler may require user authentication prior to completing cash handling services. Upon a successful authentication, requested cash handling services may be completed.

Abstract: Enhanced graphical user interfaces and methods for interacting with graphical user interfaces are disclosed. According to one embodiment, a method may include: (1) receiving a selection of a transaction from a user; (2) presenting a first selection row comprising first selection row options associated with the selected transaction; (3) receiving a selection of one of the first selection row options; (4) presenting a second selection row comprising second selection row options; (5) receiving a selection of one of the second selection row options; (6) receiving an indication to execute the transaction using the selected first selection row option and the selected second selection row option; and (7) executing the transaction using the selected first selection row option and the selected second selection row option. The first selection row and the second selection row may remain presented on the display screen until the indication to execute the transaction is received.

Abstract: A number of enhancements for financial services devices are provided. Financial services devices, as used herein, may include drive-up type financial services devices. These enhancements include user interface improvements as well as increasing functionality of the financial services device. Specific application of the enhancements include drive up financial services devices. The enhancements may include improved ergonomics for customer interaction and multiple display screens, as well as sensors for detection of a customer's vehicle.

Abstract: The invention relates to a system and method for accessing multiple accounts. According to one embodiment, the system includes an access device comprising a body in the form of a card; a processor housed in the body; a memory housed in the body and connected to the processor, wherein the memory stores information on the multiple accounts; a selection device housed in the body and adapted to allow a user to select one of the multiple accounts; a display housed in the body for displaying information identifying the selected account, wherein the processor is programmed to generate a signal to generate the information identifying the selected account in response to a user selecting one of the multiple accounts using the selection device; and a wireless transmitter and a wireless receiver housed in the body and connected to the processor.

Abstract: A number of enhancements for financial services devices are provided. These enhancements may be in the form of user interface improvements as well as increasing functionality of the financial services device. The enhancements include: a height adjustment feature for the user interface, a hover/touch and hold enhancement for the user interface, and a service capability enhancement to allow the financial services device to support transactions with pre-paid/stored value cards.

Abstract: An intelligent process is provided for a business to interface with a financial institution. A container is provided that is capable of interfacing with a financial transaction device. The container may have one or more internal compartments sized to accommodate cash, coins, and/or checks. The container may be available in a variety of sizes. The container is capable of being sealed and locked in a tamper proof manner. A tracking device may be included with the container. The container may contain a computing device. The container may then be taken to a designated location having a financial transaction device with which the container can interface. The financial transaction device may be located at a branch of a financial institution or another location, such as at the business itself or at another location.

Abstract: A system and method is provided to enable a financial services device, such as, for example, an ATM or financial services kiosk, to support a variety of card types. The card may be used for login purposes. The financial services device according to exemplary embodiments may be capable of supporting both magnetic strip only cards and EMV type cards. A card is inserted into a card reader, the card type is determined, and the card is removed. When an EMV card is recognized, the financial services may request the card be reinserted into the card reader whereupon it is clamped and held for the duration of interaction with the financial services device.
