The infrared audio frequency transmitter is configured for activating and delivering the voice signals to an external hearing aid device having an infrared detector.

Abstract: An insertion type fluid volume meter and control system comprises a non-ferrous pipe, an electromagnet device, a pair of electrodes, a flow control valve, and a flow controller. The electromagnet device is for building up a pulsed square wave magnetic field across the conductive liquid flowing through the non-ferrous pipe. The pair of electrodes are disposed on outer surface of the non-ferrous pipe for detecting an electromotive force induced by Faraday's induction law. The flow control valve is disposed in the non-ferrous pipe for controlling amount of flow. The flow controller is configured to receive output signal consisting of the induced electromotive force from the pair of electrodes and control the flow control valve base on the measured flow amount.

A second file can reside in an inline frame (iFrame) on the page that is able to pull the targeting data from the parent page, if in the same domain, or parse the parameters from the data in the anchor. The targeting data can be submitted to a selection service, which can return parameters specifying content or a type of supplemental content to be displayed. The request submitted to a supplemental content provider can come from a nested iFrame in a separate domain, such that the targeting data or source of the parent file cannot be obtained through the nested iFrame.

In addition to the noise elimination, the invention provides a voice communication unit with weatherproofness by adjusting the size of and disposing the openings for the sound paths. The voice communication unit can be adapted to a two-way communication channel that carry information in both directions, but not at the same time, or to a two-way communication channel that carry information in both directions at the same time.

Abstract: The present invention is directed toward a dual linear or circular polarized antenna comprised of two orthogonally linearly polarized radiative elements. More specifically, the present invention is for a slender slot-dipole antenna, where the slot and the dipole are located in the same physical structure. Feed line interference to the antenna can be eliminated by including a centrally located shaft. The antenna of the present invention can be used as either a receive antenna or a transmitting antenna and could be used to form an array. In one embodiment, the antenna is comprised of two substantially cylindrical members, wherein the slot is located on the outer surface of the antenna and the cylindrical members function as dipoles. Other embodiments are directed toward multiple slots and polygonal-shaped antennas.

Abstract: The widebeam antenna includes a tapered dielectric waveguide having a radiating end and an end for coupling electromagnetic energy into and out of the dielectric waveguide. A conducting sleeve surrounds the dielectric waveguide. A corrugated flange surrounds the sleeve near the radiating end of the waveguide and a dielectric ring also surrounds the radiating end of the waveguide. It is preferred that the dielectric ring have a dielectric constant in the range of 2.0 to 4.0. The structure of the invention provides substantially uniform hemispherical coverage for the transmission and reception of electromagnetic energy.
