  • Publication number: 20040158541
Abstract: Methods and systems provide power savings control based on financial compensation. The power reduction system is configured to automatically account for a desired or target power savings over a time period. The system compensates for previous or current decreases in power reduction for one or more loads to satisfy an aggregate target power savings by the end of a time period.

  • Publication number: 20030225640
Abstract: A method and system for charging a fee to an end user where a service company services a lighting system of the end user's facility. To determine the fee, an original power consumption of the facility is determined before the lighting system is retrofitted with at least one power savings device. Thereafter, the lighting system is retrofitted with the at least one power saving device. Then, a new power consumption is measured of the facility. Finally, the fee is charged to the end user, such that the fee is a function of a difference between the original power consumption and the new power consumption.

  • Publication number: 20030127998
Abstract: Lighting depreciation is compensated by systems and methods. Where a reduction in power is provided to a lamp for saving energy costs, the amount of power reduction is decreased as a function of the age of the lamp. The decrease in power reduction compensates for lighting deprecation of the lamp. The power provided to the lamp is increased as a function of the age of the lamp.

  • Patent number: 6535859
Abstract: A method and system for charging a fee to an end user where a service company services a lighting system of the end user's facility. To determine the fee, an original power consumption of the facility is determined before the lighting system is retrofitted with at least one power savings device. Thereafter, the lighting system is retro-fitted with the at least one power saving device. Then, a new power consumption is measured of the facility. Finally, the fee is charged to the end user, such that the fee is a function of a difference between the original power consumption and the new power consumption.
