  • Publication number: 20240022561
Abstract: A system includes a memory and a processor coupled to the memory. The processor receives a user credential associated with a user and authorizes an avatar of the user to enter a virtual environment. The processor receives a virtual security token that provides access to a virtual sub-environment in the virtual environment. Based on user data associated with the virtual security token, the processor determines that the virtual security token is associated with the user. The processor verifies that the avatar is associated with the user by authenticating the identity of the user associated with the virtual security token. In response to successfully verifying the identity of the user, the processor authorizes the avatar to enter the virtual sub-environment.

  • Publication number: 20240022553
Abstract: A system includes a memory and a processor coupled to the memory. The processor is configured to receive a first user credential associated with a user and authorize an avatar of the user to enter a virtual environment. The processor receives a second user credential associated with the user and authorizes the first avatar to access a virtual entity in the virtual environment. The processor receives a request from the user to authenticate the virtual entity and, in response, retrieves user data associated with the user and presents it to the user in the virtual environment. The processor receives an indication from the user that the virtual entity is authentic. The processor then receives a request from the user to perform a virtual data interaction with the virtual entity and initiates the requested data interaction.

  • Publication number: 20230410111
Abstract: A computing platform having at least one processor, a memory, and a communication interface may receive, via the communication interface, a transaction request from a participant. The computing platform may identify a user and one or more linked digital wallets associated with the transaction request. The computing platform then may execute an algorithm for comparing the transaction request to predetermined criteria associated with the one or more linked digital wallets. The computing platform may establish, via the communication interface, a first connection with a user computing device and, while the first connection is established, transmit to the user computing device transaction information which, when executed by the user computing device, causes a notification to be displayed on the user computing device.

  • Publication number: 20230370246
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to processing systems for performing cross-sectional asset editing. A computing platform may receive permission to perform a first subset of event processing steps. The computing platform may delegate permission to an external event processor to perform a second subset of event processing steps and to an external resource management platform to perform a third subset of event processing steps. The computing platform may generate an element chain corresponding to the account. In response to receiving a request to process an event, the computing platform may add a sub-element to the element chain containing a fixed parameter corresponding to an expected value associated with the event and a variable parameter corresponding to an actual value associated with the event. In response to receiving a request to write the actual value to the element chain, the computing platform may modify the variable parameter of the sub-element accordingly.

  • Patent number: 11734686
Abstract: Methods and systems for using block chain technology to verify transaction data are described herein. A computing platform may receive data about events related to transactions, personal or corporate information, supply chains, and other relevant information about a person or corporate entity. The event information may be received, aggregated, and processed to determine metadata about the person or corporate entity. The metadata may indicate, for example, a trustworthiness of the person or corporate entity for various purposes. Such event information and/or metadata may be stored as transactions in a block chain that may be accessible by counterparties to a potential transaction involving the person or corporate entity. The automated event processing computing platform may further use automated techniques to implement smart transactions between the person/entity and counterparty based on the trust metadata.

  • Patent number: 11616637
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to processing systems perform dynamic asset adjustment. A computing platform may split a parent element of a stored element chain into sub-elements, containing a fixed parameter and a variable parameter and each linked to the parent element through the stored element chain. The computing platform may determine a change in the variable parameter, resulting in a modified variable parameter. Based on a comparison of the modified variable parameter to a plurality of predetermined discrepancy thresholds, the computing platform may determine a number of quorum approvers for approval of the change to the variable parameter. The computing platform may receive quorum approval inputs corresponding to the number of quorum approvers for the approval of the change to the variable parameter. Based on the plurality of quorum approval inputs received, the computing platform may determine that a quorum approval threshold is satisfied.

  • Patent number: 11461772
Abstract: Apparatus and methods are provided for a conversion engine that bridges between incompatible digital currency systems. The conversion engine may include a non-transitory memory of a computer system that includes machine executable instructions, that when executed by a processor on the computer system cause the processor to perform one or more functions of the conversion engine. The conversion engine may receive a request from a source digital wallet application and extract a destination digital wallet from the request. The conversion engine may locate currency referenced by the source digital currency application and verify a transactional integrity of the currency. The conversion engine may transfer the currency from the source digital wallet application to the destination digital wallet application.

  • Patent number: 11423396
Abstract: As the world progresses towards a 100% cashless payment society, there has been a rise in the various forms of emerging payment technologies. Such technologies may include digital wallet payment applications. There is a need for a plug and play, universal protocol that would bridge the gap between these various emerging payment technologies and their respective proprietary ecosystems. The plug and play universal protocol would be deployed in each money transfer ecosystem and would be responsible for forwarding money to an account/wallet external to the ecosystem. There is also a need for a hardware digital wallet that interacts with the bridging protocol, merchant POS terminals and other transaction processing systems.

  • Patent number: 11263677
Abstract: A system includes a device, a database, and a processor. The device receives a social network post including text and an image depicting a customizable product. The database stores a purchase history of a user of the device. In response to determining that the device displayed the post, the processor determines, using a machine learning algorithm, that the image depicts the product and determines a set of retailers offering the product. The processor predicts, based in part on the purchase history, a customization for the customizable feature of the product that the user prefers and a retailer of the set of retailers offering the customized product. The processor then sends a recommendation of the customized product to the user, including a link to purchase the product from the predicted retailer. Then, in response to receiving a purchase request from the user, the processor completes a purchase of the customized product.

  • Patent number: 11232416
Abstract: This application describes apparatus and methods for distributing computing resources using edge-computing. Apparatus may include an edge node that is positioned in a target geographic region. The edge-node may include information needed to process transactions that occur locally in the target geographic region. The edge-node may process the transaction without communicating with a central server. The edge-node may support processing transactions on behalf of a variety of financial institutions and merchant processing systems. Processing the transaction locally may reduce computational resources typically required by region server to process high volumes of transactions. The edge-nodes would process transactions locally, close to a location of at least one party to the transaction.

There is a need for a bridging protocol and conversion engine that would connect gaps between these various emerging payment technologies and their respective proprietary ecosystems. The digital holding account may be subject to rigorous validations to scrutinize the source and destination of transferred currency. Validation may include checking distributed ledger transaction records of prior transfers of the received currency.
