  • Patent number: 11559054
Abstract: A shield system for an electric power transmission tower includes a plurality of panels configured to be secured to a cross-arm structure of the tower in adjacent, end-to-end arrangement so as to overlie insulators supported by the tower and prevent excrement from birds nesting and/or congregating on the tower from contacting and accumulating on the insulators. Each panel has opposite ends and opposite lateral edges extending between the opposite ends. A plurality of spaced-apart apertures are formed in each panel adjacent each of the lateral edges and at least one of the ends, and each aperture is configured to receive a respective fastener therethrough for securing the panel to the cross-arm structure. Each panel has a shape that generally conforms to a shape of a portion of the cross-arm structure to which the panel is secured.

  • Patent number: 9811213
Abstract: A processing system for an input device includes a sensor module and a noise mitigation module. The sensor module includes sensor circuitry and is configured to drive a plurality of transmitter electrodes with transmitter signals, and receive, with a plurality of receiver electrodes, resulting signals comprising effects corresponding to the transmitter signals. The noise mitigation module is configured to determine positional information for a first input object in a sensing region of the input device based on the resulting signals and to report the positional information. The noise mitigation module includes a touch buffer configured to store a plurality of input object states corresponding to the first input object and is configured to limit, when in a high-noise mode, the reporting of positional information based on the plurality of input object states stored in the touch buffer.

  • Publication number: 20150186819
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure include generation of organizational intelligence, such as organizational features, associated with an organization. In one aspect, an organizational feature can be based at least on organizational and non-organizational information. In another aspect, certain organizational features can be obtained, for example, from correlations present in the organizational and/or non-organizational information. At least one of such features can may be referred to as organizational insight, and can be represented with a function and/or a group of concepts drawn from the information relied on or otherwise leveraged for determination of the insight. Regardless of complexity, in yet another aspect, certain features of the disclosure can be analyzed, modeled, and/or simulated. In addition or in the alternative, in at least certain aspects, operational recommendations for the organization can be generated.

  • Publication number: 20080061174
Abstract: A blender includes a base for housing a motor, an insulated, removable mixing container mounted on the base with a dispenser for dispensing content from the container, a lid, and a grinding and shaving assembly disposed inside the mixing container near its bottom. The grinding and shaving assembly includes a grinding and shaving blade assembly attached to a rotating shaft and a screen disposed around the grinding and shaving blade assembly. The screen is spaced from an inner sidewall of the mixing container to form a space between the screen and the inner sidewall. An opening is defined near a bottom of the mixing container to form a fluid passage between the space and the dispenser. A safety switch is provided so that the blender will not run unless the lid is closed. Either an AC or a DC motor may be used, with a build-in DC-AC or AC-DA converter.
