  • Publication number: 20240391019
Abstract: A part 3D printed by a pulse lasing apparatus. The part has a predetermined feature comprising a plurality of 3D prints and voids in a grid pattern. The grid pattern has a plurality of locations disposed along a series of substantially parallel rows, and each location comprises either one 3D print or one void. The pulses from the pulse lasing apparatus form the 3D prints and the absence of a pulse forms the voids. The pulse lasing apparatus is controlled by a computing device that sends packets of instructions to the pulse lasing apparatus, the packet of instructions comprising at least 2, where each individual instruction informs the laser to pulse or not to pulse, creating a 3D print or a void, respectively, at each location on the grid pattern.

  • Patent number: 12037154
Abstract: A method for performing a task in registration with a discrete seal in at least one material is described herein. The method involves simultaneously forming a discrete seal and a fiducial/eye mark in the at least one material. The method includes providing a detection device; providing a unit operation mechanism; and performing an operation on the material(s) in registration with the discrete seal. The task performed in registration with the discrete seal is based upon the location of the eye mark that was simultaneously formed with the discrete seal. A method of making flexible containers using cutting to form the outer periphery of the packages is described herein. Also described herein are flexible containers and container blanks made by such a method.

  • Patent number: 11651336
Abstract: Techniques are described for determining data dependent alert profiles to be presented on sender and/or receiver computing devices in response to a request for transfer of a data from the sender to the receiver. The alert profiles are determined based on a value of the data. The sender alert profile may be determined based on the information on sender accounts and the receiver alert profile may be determined based on the information on the receiver account. The alert profiles may be determined based on a history of the data transfer between the sender and the receiver, or account history of either the sender or the receiver, or the history of the data transfer within the system. The alert profiles may be presented on computing devices, for example through haptic actuators, to provide a sense of the data value to the user.

  • Patent number: 11635010
Abstract: An apparatus for reducing emissions that has a combustion turbine that feeds exhaust into a heat recovery steam generator (or HRSG) casing in which is positioned an emission reduction system featuring, in gas flow sequence, a first reducing reductant injector (RRI1), as in an ammonia injection grid, for providing reducing reductant, preferably ammonia, into turbine exhaust travelling within the HRSG, followed by a first SCR reactor positioned downstream of the first RRI1, followed by one of either (i) a turbulence generator (TG) as in a static mixer, or (ii) a second RRI2 as in a second ammonia injection grid, or (iii) an RRI2 with integrated TG supported on injectors of RRI2, then followed by a second SCR reactor. The emission reduction system preferably is free of a separate body oxidation catalyst or a separate body ammonia slip catalyst in an effort to utilize a limited volume within the HRSG. Methods of assembling and operating the ERS or T-H combination with ERS are also featured.
