  • System and method for stabilizing landslides and steep slopes

    Abstract: A device for stabilizing slopes having a first plate and a second plate attached to the first plate at a non-perpendicular angle. The second plate is configured to inhibit rotation of the first plate. At least one gusset is disposed on a first side of the second plate and attaches the first plate to the second plate. At least one strut is disposed on a second side of the second plate and attaches the first plate to the second plate. A guide tube is non-pivotally attached to the first plate such that at least one of a rod and an extension of the anchor are rotatable within the guide tube. The guide tube is a hollow cylinder that is completely closed except at the ends thereof.
