  • Patent number: 11884902
Abstract: Systems and methods of forming and analyzing a dissolvable article are provided herein. In an embodiment, a method of analyzing a dissolvable article includes providing a dissolvable article comprising a water-soluble block copolymer and a fragrance, capturing a plurality of images of a surface of the dissolvable article using a three dimensional imaging device, wherein the plurality of images have different spatial properties and wherein the plurality of images are of a substantially similar viewing area of the three-dimensional imaging device, and determining a measurement of pore density and surface roughness of the surface of the dissolvable article.

  • Publication number: 20230063888
Abstract: A fabric conditioning composition includes a fabric softening agent, a highly-branched cyclic dextrin, and water. A method for laundering fabric includes applying a detergent composition to the fabric, rinsing the detergent composition from the fabric, and after rinsing the detergent composition from the fabric, applying a fabric conditioning composition to the fabric. The fabric conditioning composition includes a fabric softening agent, a highly-branched cyclic dextrin, and water. Furthermore, the method includes rinsing the fabric conditioning composition from the fabric.

  • Publication number: 20220186144
Abstract: A unit dose detergent product includes a unit dose pouch with a water soluble film, and a liquid detergent encapsulated in the unit dose pouch. The liquid detergent includes a soil release polymer, at least 10% by weight of an alkyl-ether sulfate, an alkoxylated polyamine, less than 30% by weight of water, and, optionally, a polyglycol. A mixture of 2 parts of the liquid detergent composition to 1 part water has a viscosity below 3,000 centipoise.

  • Patent number: 11193090
Abstract: Systems and methods of forming and analyzing a dissolvable article are provided herein. In an embodiment, a method of forming a dissolvable article with excellent dissolution performance includes heating a dissolvable composition that includes a water-soluble block copolymer at heating conditions that are sufficient to render the copolymer flowable and to form a hot melt composition. The water-soluble block copolymer is solid at ambient conditions. The method further includes solidifying the dissolvable composition to form the dissolvable article. A surface of the dissolvable article is analyzed for surface texture using a three-dimensional imaging device to produce a data set that is representative of the surface texture. If the data set fails to at least equal a predetermined threshold value, the method further includes reformulating the dissolvable composition to form a reformulated dissolvable composition.

  • Patent number: 10789702
Abstract: Systems and methods for analyzing a fabric article to determine fiber damage are provided herein. In an embodiment of a method for analyzing a fabric article, the fabric article is provided and at least one image of the fabric article is captured using a three-dimensional imaging device. The at least one image is processed using a contrast function to produce a processed data set that is representative of fiber damage in a viewing area of the three-dimensional imaging device. Optionally, a processed image is produced based upon the processed data set.
