Abstract: An undercut release component having an end configured for molding a part having an undercut is disclosed wherein the configured end disengages from the molded undercut by traveling in a 3-axis path. A process for providing undercut release in a mold is also disclosed.

Abstract: A wind-activated audio-generating apparatus includes a sound-generating circuit and a wind switch having multiple contacts that are suspended from a support. When subjected to an air current, the contacts of the wind switch randomly strike one another and create a momentary electrically conductive path for an electrical signal. The electrical signal is applied to the sound-generating circuit, which is configured to generate an audio effect, such as a birdcall, in response thereto. The sound-generating circuit can also be configured to selectively generate an audio effect based on the occurrence of a predetermined condition, such as the detection of daylight.

Abstract: An apparatus for forming a crimped hem between two flanged components supported in a nest. The apparatus including a translational drive assembly configured to translate the nest and a wiper assembly along a longitudinal axis such that the wiper assembly is simultaneously directed transverse to the longitudinal axis. In this manner, the wiper asembly engages and bends the flange of one component over the flange of a second component forming a hem.
